If BFL never comes out with a working product eventually they will have burn through their VC or preorder funds and will only be left with a small portion for refunds (that is assuming they don't run with the remaining funds).

People will find out the company is on financial quicksand only if/when it implodes, in which case waiting for evidence would be disastrous. That's what common sense and judgment is for.

Why would they need people to pay the entire cost of the products and not simply pay a deposit if their intention wasnt to earn a shitload of interest or use the cash to fund manufacturing ? |
