Title: Help!, A Chasis/Case that's riser friendly, any suggestions? Post by: AndyRossy on June 08, 2011, 09:22:34 PM Looking for a case to support 4 graphics cards, all on risers from the motherboard. Are there any desktop chassis which would be suitable for this? Or does anybody have any suggestions on the easiest way to do this, or a case that's easy to mod in this way?

Post by: bcpokey on June 08, 2011, 09:56:11 PM No. Useful cards are double slot beasts. If you put 1 slot of space between each card you would be 9 + 22 = 11 slots on a case. The average case has 7 slots.
You can buy a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112327 that's about the cheapest 11 slot case I know. Otherwise look to custom builds. Wood / L-Beams, etc. |
