Is it based on the weeks or months spent in bitcointalk? Rank depends on the activity you get in your account. Activity update is every 2 weeks which you can get 14 activity points every activity update. The posts does have a relation to the activity. To be able to get the 14 activity every 2 weeks you will need to post atleast one (1) post every activity update. If you have a further question, please ask in the begginers and help section and also a majority is asked in the meta section. Do not post off topic on threads like this.
