Title: Bitwalking Post by: tifossi on February 19, 2016, 08:04:57 AM Does anyone know this site?
http://www.bitwalking.com I'm interested and I'm on the invite lost now. Does having anyone a invite and can tell something about it? Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: Mickeyb on February 19, 2016, 08:13:02 AM Doesn't seem to be related to bitcoin from what I see. Don't think it'll work though, with people managing to cheat these systems easily
Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: merelcoin on February 19, 2016, 08:14:32 AM Seems the same principle as mangocoinz... I made a couple of BTC with them a while ago (with mangocoinz, not with bitwalking).
Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: stiffbud on February 19, 2016, 08:18:55 AM Never heard of it yet until now. merelcoin is right, it does have the same feature like mangocoinz where you will earn coins for the movements you are making and in this case, you need to walk. I don't know if it actually works tho, the site doesn't seem look professional. Let us know once you get the invite already!
Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: lionproof on February 19, 2016, 08:21:12 AM The free app converts steps to Bitwalking dollars (BW$) that you can manage and use as you wish.
You can make purchases at Bitwalking’s in-app marketplace, trade BW$ with other users, and make purchases with our third party partners. Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: enhu on February 19, 2016, 08:34:32 AM its silly to think i can earn just by walking. anyone can walk all day and they should become millionaire thru this program. but I don't really get how they can earn from this app. and once i don't understand I assume its a ponzi scheme. ;D Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: freakying99 on February 19, 2016, 09:45:22 AM its silly to think i can earn just by walking. anyone can walk all day and they should become millionaire thru this program. but I don't really get how they can earn from this app. and once i don't understand I assume its a ponzi scheme. ;D Not really. If they are able to grab more than 50k daily active users for their app then it will probably generate them a lot more than the average wage and the money they are giving way, it depends on the popularity and it could succeed cause obesity is a global issue. Also the free market for their currency is another bonus for them but it doesn't looks like a crypto to me.Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: tifossi on February 19, 2016, 09:51:24 AM I'm on the waiting list now. I let you know when I have the invite. Hope this makes some free money by walking.
Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: favdesu on February 19, 2016, 10:08:55 AM they do not send out invites. like never. so don't bother with their waiting list

Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: crazyivan on February 19, 2016, 01:21:47 PM This is another pointless service. You have to run for a week to make $1. Who runs every single day for two hours????

So a very small segment of the population.Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: tifossi on February 19, 2016, 07:37:05 PM I saw it now, with the other service o must run for 7 days to get $2.
Don't know exactly what a distance a day. Also you allow them to do with your personal info provided whatever they want to do.
Its a interesting concept, might try this out if it gets decent reviews. Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: tifossi on February 19, 2016, 10:55:22 PM The concept looks good. But hopefully it's not recommend to have GPS always on. So the power of the iPhone will go down very fast.

Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: Enotche on February 20, 2016, 04:43:59 PM Send inquiry about 3 months ago, on 4 email and for different countries. It's just a letter with a request to wait.
Actually, I feel a trick here. The developers say that the application will be kept in sync with fitness bracelet "Xiaomi MiBand". But! The company "Xiaomi" does not give developers the source code! This was written by the developers of third-party fitness apps for example - FitHub "There is no support offered from Xiaomi to allow 3rd party developers app for Mi Band" Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: tifossi on February 20, 2016, 07:06:01 PM Oh, you're waiting over 3 months and nothing? Maybe the project is down? But there are some post on their FB page, so the project should be up.

Seems like a really good idea if it can get off the ground. Your payouts will drop to a hundredth of a cent.
Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: Enotche on April 29, 2016, 11:40:16 AM Well, somebody is already using this application? Got an invite anyone?
I just received a mail: "Hi! It’s been a busy time for Bitwalking, and so far we’ve kept the details under wraps. We want you, our early followers, to be the first to get an in-depth look into Bitwalking and to participate, from the beginning, in a movement long overdue. This is a currency for everyone, and we believe that it’s essential for many people to be involved in its creation. For those that have been working with us - from artists in Brooklyn, politicians in Tokyo, community hubs in Malawi, beta testers worldwide, and many more - thank you. While we develop releases and events for 2016, we want to keep the door open for those interested in the creation of Bitwalking. No matter what your background is, you can get involved and take a leading role with us. Details to come. For those who solely want an invite, thank you for your patience. We’re with you, and we look forward to sharing with you what we’ve been working on. In solidarity, Bitwalking" It's been about 7 months! So far no invitations! I'd say it's just vaporware at this point Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: bitkokos2 on October 26, 2016, 08:47:18 PM It's finally on google play guys.
I made 5 bitwalking dollars within a few days. For the moment those dollars are useless, but who knows if we can exchange them in the future. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bitwalking.bitwalking Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: LTU_btc on October 26, 2016, 10:45:17 PM It's finally on google play guys. It's can, too many android apps are giving offers like bitwalking, but totally a lot of them have restricted their member with strict rules for withdrawing, just like making their users are not able for withdrawing his money from their account and totally this is can't be answered.Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: bitkokos2 on October 27, 2016, 02:08:50 PM It's finally on google play guys. For the moment those dollars are useless, but who knows if we can exchange them in the future. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bitwalking.bitwalking I have no idea because I have an android watch connected to google fit on my phone and it was counting mostly movements as steps. Even when I was not walking, just typing or driving it was giving me some 0.10 a day. The rest 0.3 a day was by walking mostly at home. I hope they soon include fitness bands as my mi band counts more movements as steps. LOL And be careful. It's not $ (USD) it's W$ (bitwalking dollars) I have no idea what is the value of W$ Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: bitkokos2 on October 27, 2016, 02:13:06 PM I think bitwalking is App on android that can make money in USD, but i don't know it can be withdrawal on account bank or not, because there are not many review about it and i don't install into my android because of security reasons. You don't make money like USD with bitwalking. You make their altcoin called Bitwalking dollar. You will be using these to buy goods. I don't think you will be able to cash out in a bank. For the moment you can just make coins but not get anything with them. I understand your frustration because of a few reviews. I just tell you that they partnered with Nokia, if that makes you more comfortable. http://company.nokia.com/en/news/press-releases/2016/10/10/bitwalking-and-nokia-partner-to-launch-digital-currency-mining-for-charity Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: Hazir on October 28, 2016, 04:48:23 AM This is another pointless service. You will be gaining some money as "secondary objective" and walking because you can earn some additional peanuts should't be your to priority anyway. What bothers me is fact that this app is only a promo gateway to earn some useless altcoin. Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: bitkokos2 on October 28, 2016, 06:25:39 PM I am not completely sure but it must be around 0.1Wdollar per 1 kilometer
Title: Re: Bitwalking Post by: bitkokos2 on October 29, 2016, 03:09:58 PM I uninstalled google fit and reinstalled it. Since then it does not send the steps data to bitwalking app.
Keep that in mind. |
