Hello!!

I took payment for some goods in Bitcoins and sender sent the bitcoins with 0 tx fee.

Its been pending for 12 hours,  any idea till when it will confirm?
I hope it will be confirmed soon , Please help!

It will get confirmed but when that is too diffcult to say as the transaction is zero transaction fee that is why it is take very long time , like hrs or days or more. and one more option is their that if in some point transaction  may get cancelled. that time you have to contact that person back and ask him to send it back with transaction fees.

i guess yes it will be confirmed pretty soon though next time you should include a fee

More than likely these days that it will never confirm and you will get the bitcoin back to the sending address within 72hrs.

That is just wrong it will never just cancel and the recipient gets them and you have to ask for them back??? wise up dont give out information, if you havent a clue.  If you sent money to some one why would you ask for it back you numpty???

@calkob op is the recipient.

@OP it will likely get confirmed because of the high priority but it will take some time. or if you're unlucky it will not confirm, the network will forget the tx, and the btc will return to the sender's wallet.

12 hours is already passed.

im too send with zero fee. confimation time about 3 days.

I'd guess rebroadcasting (every 30min. 'll help) -> Raw: Note-> Transaction 21cbbec0e0edec1a03736c4cc35ae2bdcc8ef9544f8b68f9f396a685fc5a68f3 has been relayed and propagated through approximately 4.76% of the network.

It would help if the miners haven't seen it and are willing to mine it. If not, the transaction will need to wait till the priority increases or if OP likes, dropped fro mempool and can be spent again.

The transaction has a priority of 111,788,884 which is alright for a transaction with no fee. However, there is around 20k unconfirmed transaction in the mempool. The miners would mine the transactions with higher priority first before those with lower priority. For it to be dropped from mempool, you need to stop the client or anyone from rebroadcasting. After a while, you should be able to spend it again and nodes will relay it.

Don't Want the hassle to go to buyer again and wait for his reply.

If it get's cancelled the buyer gets the BTC back and you end up with nothing... maybe next time wait for one confirmation before sending what you sold

Is their a way to get the transaction confirmed? and do you think it will confirm now? already 24+ hours passed!

simply wait and continue to rebroadcast it. it's normal for a tx with no fee to take a long time to get confirmed, even with high priority.

When i try to reboardcast it , it just gives me the same TX id , so not sure if i am doing correct!!

The TXID should not change. I have just rebroadcast it for you again. As long as no competing transaction gets included in a block and you continually rebroadcast and wait long enough, it would eventually confirm.

I just pushed it.
and yeah after you enter the raw tx on most wallet you'll get the same tx ID. there should be a send or broadcast button, simply click it.

Did you send the goods yet? If not it might be faster to let the network forget about the TX and tell the person to resend with a proper fee.

It's best not to be cheap and send coins without the fee. That's how miners make their money. Fees  are not that much anyway, like, less the 10 cents?

Actually it wasnt me , i sold goods to a buyer and he sent me the payment , didnt knew he will send payment with 0 btc fee.
Hope someone will confirm this!

In future i will make sure that every buyer pay's fee.
