Implementations like this has a minority support at the moment and they just going to piss off some more people. It looks like merchants and exchanges with bigger expansion plans, wants to scale quickly and they think SegWit will not allow them to do that.
They see other implementations like the Lightning network as a threat to their business model and the fees they can charge onto their services. No wonder they supporting Bitcoin Classic, because it means more money in their pockets. |
