Title: Am I the only one expecting a drop?
Post by: yugo23 on February 21, 2016, 10:58:03 PM
Hey, I just oppened a short after seeing the litle rise on bitfinex.

Am I the only one expecting a small dump back to 420 before it starts to rise again?

Bitcoin is known that it will rise and drop very often because it is bitcoin, but it has many chances to drop but will rise again probably to $500 within a month.

Didn't it already happen today? It dropped around $20 in a very short time frame. I think at this point people are already happy with the fact that the price is sitting above $400 for now.

I could give a shat what you do with your money, but be careful shorting bitcoin.  Hell, be careful shorting anything.  The downside is only limited by your imagination and if you can imagine yourself sitting on a street corner selling pencils with a tin cup in your hand, then that's just the start of what could really happen.  Markets have murdered people who thought prices were too high and went short.  And with bitcoin?  Yeah, you'd be surprised how irrational the market can be.

I'm bullish, it already dropped today and it's best to buy low after a drop then sell high. It's more likely to go up than down after a drop. Shorting is very high risk and can cost you everything you bet. There are bots trading that will manipulate the market to get shorts margin called.

Well at the moment it's at $439 and there were some drops yesterday that when from $446 it went to $430 but again it recovered and this has been on the normal scale as anything from $10 to $15 dollar upward/downward are the usual. I'm liking this new uprising that is happening lately, very positive, overall.

it's dropping a bit now, 4$ a day and so, but  i wouldin't call it a huge drop, just pump and dump, and halving is soon that won't drop bitcoins price for sure, just rise it

the chances to see a price increase from current price level is more likely than seeing the price go down. i think the price will stay just above $400 for a month before advancing to price levels closer to $500.

Most of time it never goes straight to the top there are some ups and downs. Few weeks earlier the same happened I only hope it will not raise to hard.

Dumping happens now, and if you mean a huge price dump, then i don't thing that it could happen, it will rise only pretty  soon

Yep, i think this is the lowest it can ever get. Price speculations are all bearing for its value to grow up.
