Title: Bitcoins stolen from Primedice account
Post by: kryptonite93 on February 22, 2016, 01:56:27 AM
I bought btc for 42€ and didn't receive them on my primedice account "Kryptonite93"

I started to wonder that where my money is when i didn't receive them after the transaction was confirmed 2 times.

I copy-pasted my address and only after buying the btc i noticed that the address i copy from my primedice account appears different when pasted.

I have not used ANY scripts or mods etc on my primedice account. All my Deposits have arrived safely before today.

Here is the info on the deposit: https://blockchain.info/tx/9ce7fe2a713c4c6949c49fa59faf8afcc60403b822a29bb411985e229c87a895

This is my primedice wallet address: 1MNNBJwPumNvvexg9bMEUFSKqNe3o54YWS and when i copy paste it, it appears as: 1EZnmbFM3YKxQBYLGh418YtJwQhBBd3QBP

I really do wish that i could get my BTC back.

Seems like there's a bug/malware in your system which changes the address in your clipboard, so technically the money was never sent to PD, it got sent to the hacker's address. Unfortunately the money is lost.

But you should format the PC before it does any more damage.

Yeah I also think there is malware in your PC which is doing that.I think 1 month ago there was also a similiar case which was doing the same thing and many users were scammed. It is highly advisable to format the PC or Reset the Pc(doesn't loses files or documents but you will lose your softwares). Also please try to avoid dice bots or installation of cracked software becaise they are only things behind these malwares.

Defo just wipe the whole computer to be safe.  What i do is use a computer i dont store stuff on for most of my non serious web browsing and any sign of anything suspcious i just wipe the whole thing and start again.  All your photos and stuff you want long term put elsewhere.

You loosed your bitcoins, its impossible to recover them. And isn't primedice fault. Your computer has a virus, could be malware. Clean your pc, its good if you format your pc and make a clean instalation of the s.o. Next time that you copy/paste a bitcoin addres look about if it has the same start or finish (for small amounts isn't necessari to revise all the address), and if you send a big amount its better if you revise all the address.

That is a hard way to get scammed also that you can't see before the transaction that the address was changed.

I think you got a virus in your pc or laptop that everytime you copy paste wallet address it will turn to other wallet address..
Make sure to scan your whole pc or laptop with updated anti virus... or you got bug in their site..next time you should double check first the address before you send..

I think its just a human fault. you have old copy address from other site and i think you forgot to copy the address from prime dice you mark it forgot to copy... that's why the result is address address..

Obviously a sort of malware. As someone has said above me, this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiPUw9j2GiM) has your scammed address as the donations address. Did you download this hack or anything like it recently?

I don't think that he forgot to copy the address, there are some malware extensions for browsers that change the address when you paste it on the navigator, other users had the same problem before.
