Title: prune mode - no wallet has been loaded
Post by: DjangoSi on February 22, 2016, 04:43:36 PM
Hello,

I have started Bitcoin-Qt on a Mac with purne=10000.
The bitcoin client startet up and is showing: No wallet has been loaded.
But the wallet is still there!

How can I load the wallet?

Wallet is only available on version 0.12 with pruning mode, I assume you're running a previous version, so, no wallet for you.

Ouh, so I need to redownload the blockchain or update to 0.12 :P

Nice that they offer this option in an stable version without a function!

You might need to redownload and verify the blockchain, check it out:

https://bitcoin.org/bin/bitcoin-core-0.12.0/test.rc3/

Stable release will be available later today or tomorrow.

Isn't this version the stable one?

Yes but it is not officially released yet. Official binaries do not exist yet.
