How much di you guys recommend to actually get a good profit from it for like 1-2 months in return?

I have a question, did you copy the design of 64Blocks.com?

I didn't design it but from what i can tell it don't appear to be the case.
Many sites share a similar style an feel an bitvest looks a whole lot different, an way better plus holds way more features.

So its a very decent track record, and light has been around for quiet a while.

This means potential winnings will be dispersed over the entire pool. The same for wages lost, right?

Well loses are already like that, but now there is a another game a whole wider ranger of gamblers that would likely play.
Over the next few months more games will be added, but they all will have the same funding source the main investment.
So higher the investment higher the limits go, bitvest allows margins to allow the limits to go higher hoping to gain more profits.
So if the main investment takes a hit the limits on all games will go down, reducing loses that can be taken.

In theory its impossible to lose 100% of your investment, the more investors that join the less you will likely lose on big loses since all loses are shared between everyone.
Based on users cut of the pot, is based how much you lose or gain so how fast you will gain, you can choose up to 500% margin.
The higher your cut the faster you are likely to hit that 500% of your investment.

I would advise not investing in Bitvest.io. They do not portray how much of a cut they take from investors anywhere on their site, in fact you need to locate their bitcointalk thread to find that.


House edge: 1.8%
Their cut: 0.65% of every bet wagered
True HE for investors: 1.15%

Now for margin. They allow margin investing, sounds like it would be a benefit for investors... Well it isn't. Because just about every investor utilizes it (meaning your % share of the bankroll does NOT increase, thus your profits do not grow bigger). What this does is open you up to dangerous variance. Such as the bet on April 26 on Bitvest that wiped out over 15 BTC of the real invested amount (or 15% of the total bankroll). Another site that operated this was was SafeDice... Which got hammered and lost over 90% of the user's bankroll from a single dice shot.


This site also has low volume. 2800 total wagered is nothing, especially for a site that has been open this long. Less volume = less profit for investors.

Bitvest only has like 30 investors most the profit was made around 30-40 btc invested.
Most of it has been made since February not October an the lack of profit is do to lack of user interest.
Bitvest was more worried about building a higher quality product then massive profits.
An many of the investors who joined at the start i'm pretty sure cleared 100% on their investment doubling it.

As for margin based investments, the limits go up an down there is no way to win that much, first big hit the limits drastically change.
I'm talking about oh you can win 14 btc they hit it well now you can only win 4 btc because the massive drop.
In the short term you might lose some but its no where close to 90% they will hit edge before that happens as the gi go's down so does the amount they can win at one time.

Also the house edge is 1.7 not 1.8 the house splits it as 1.15 to investors an 0.55% to site an only on gamblers loses.
The rest of the bet go's fully to investors so every bet 99.45% of all loses go to investors.

Yep i'm pretty sure everything on the site is pretty well documented.
we haven't had any issues since the launch of anyone feeling they aren't getting what the site says they are.
On every lose a gambler makes 99.45% of everything go's to investors unless the bet is so low that they can't get a fee of 0.55%.
But on the lose of investors to gamblers the site makes nothing, only on the lose of gamblers.

what is the maximum profit for a player or max risk of the Bank Roll  right now according to Invested (Real) and Invested (Margin)

The max profit for a user is based on how high the bank roll an margin are. But if there is a big lose the limits tank.
As of the risk depends on the game they are playing on the site both roulette an plinko are funded by the same investment.
A big lose would lower the amount you can bet on all games that will be added over the next few months.

As for risk them hitting a high 1111x 1250x multiplier with a limit bet is about 1:32k chance of hitting.
If they use more then one drop it lowers the amount they can win by half for ever drop they add to a max limit bet.

As for roulette them hitting with a max bet is about 1:37 chance of hitting but in most cases people don't just yolo bet 1 number.
But if they are they are an hit they are looking at x35 whatever they bet.

to my assessment there's a lot of good opportunity if you invest to the bank rather trying your luck betting with you coin, I think the site is also cool to play both plinko and roulette I would love to see this site grows more and to add more games in the future, good luck dev team may you find more investors for more future development of your site.

I'm almost positive that is false, commissions I paid on my invested portion seemed to be based on wins/losses, not just losses. Its not a terrible gig for investors though, the high house edge is great, just could use a bit more volume

Anytime ive asked who is invested never got a response even though the site shows over 27 people invested with 38 btc profit currently.

Personally, invested few dollars on their first months and i profited around 40% of my investment, im just not sure if the profitability nowadays is still good coz the total investment amount is almost 10x now

in short term yes it is possible but over time the edge wins.
It also depends on your margin you set almost 100% of all investors are 500% margin right now.
The investment tab will also tell how much you can get based on a 5 btc lose on the site based on your investment.

I can only say this:

If you are an investor in Bitvest, do not participate as a player in the games. :)

It is either you invest, or you play, but not both. :)

But as an investor, the returns are decent, if you consider that it takes a shorter time to gain some profits.

Until some time ago the investment was very profitable , but lately the investment is very little profitable .
The difference is remarkable ! Why ?

Bitcoin has had a huge price increase an people are betting less an cashing out more.
At the hype of most the profit bitcoin was around 250-340 usd each not its well over 700.
Its been the case even investors are pulling out of many sites including their profits.

This has gathered my attention towards investing into it. Looks very promising. Now I will add this gambling site, as well as the one from my signature into my investment portfolio. Well its impossible to have a margin of zero its 25%-500% margins.

I have no data like that the data is tracked in the charts page it shows margin investment charts also
games played and so on.

I invested a small amount(0.5 btc) at a 5x kelly, and have made good profit. I have faith in this site and its future, i'll be investing more when i get a chance.

0.0409 in about a week. But remember, I had a 5x kelly and invested .5 btc, while that number might not pop out at you as being amazing, its a pretty good ROI for a gambling website and its much better then just leaving your coins in your wallet, or giving it to one of these ponzi schemes on the forums.

I don't understand the risk. If the casino has a lot of losses because someone won a JACKPOT, for an example, I will lose a lot of money too, but when the casino start making profit again, I will make profit too, so on long term there is no risk. Right?

It will end up earning back what it has lost normally even if there is short term loses.

Let's say the bankroll hypothetically is 100 BTC in size for easier calculations.

If you invested 0.04 @ 0.25, that'd be a total investment of 0.01, about 0.01% of the bankroll. If the site were to profit 10 BTC, you'd earn 0.001, if it lost 10 BTC, you'd lose 0.001.
If you invested 0.04 @ 5.00, that'd be a total investment of 0.20, about 0.20% of the bankroll. If the site were to profit 10 BTC, you'd earn 0.020, if it lost 10 BTC, you'd lose 0.020.

Basically, it increases how large your investment share is, by multiplying the size of it. Which ends up multiplying profit/loss.

Does the 500% risk means that the site is giving leverage to investors? I'm thinking of putting an investment around .05 btc. So how's that work? Would I have the profitability equal to a .25 btc investment?

Because your risking it at a margin. Margins are equal to the amount of risk you wish to talk with your investment.
The higher the margin the more the investors are willing to risk to make the site have competitive rewards.
It also mean your trying to get 5x your investment so the 0.2 reward is what your set to get with the margin assuming profits are up.
