Title: Sorry, this is my first post but I couldn't find it in the search field...
Post by: zerokrewl on February 24, 2016, 01:22:47 PM
I just deposited some BTC into my "Electrum" wallet purchased from Circle.  Green Check mark means good to go but when I tried to transfer to the fog, my balance went to ZERO (saying not enough fnds but now my balance is zero... and there is no records of it anywhere.  I'm not sure if it got taken or if I have to wait even more time.  It's been well over 10 hours and would greatly appreciate any input regarding this matter as I have NEVER had this issue before.  Any insight would be gratefully helpful!!  Thanks!

EDIT:
I didn't sign for the transfer either, which was odd...

so you're saying that you sent btc from circle to your electrum address through fog but the btc never arrived in your electrum address? well, I suggest you try contacting circle.com support.

also if by fog you mean bitcoinfog.com/. then you might have lost your btc just like so many other users (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=50037.540).

what address did you send the btc to?

Like --Encrypted-- already asked, can we get your address?

You can use a blockexplorer (like blockchain.info) to check incoming-outgoing transactions to that address yourself, or we can do it for you.

Purchased bit coins from Circle (https://www.circle.com/signin) send to my electrum wallet (1AwEo6xYxLe8sU3q9esrgCB1GHZDBFR8zZ).  They arrived successfully.  Then I send them to (http://foggeddriztrcar2.onion) which usually take around 45 minutes give or take.  But before I even had a chance to send them, my balance was brought to 0BTC so I was unable to send them to the fog from my wallet as they were automatically send to some random address (12azuscncZJTWoYbzYbHrG39bX18qUTqk8) which I never intended to send to.  Never happened to me before.  ANY help on the matter would be greatly appreciaed on the mater as I don't want to wait until payday tomorrow to "attempt" to send more.

Also, any ideas on the best fogger site where errors are minimized as much as posslbe?  I've only been at this about a month now and any advice would greatly be apprecaited!  Thanks for your generous help regarding this matter.

that doesn't make any sense. no bitcoins were sent to that address (link (https://blockchain.info/address/1AwEo6xYxLe8sU3q9esrgCB1GHZDBFR8zZ)).

not sure if fogger works the same way as mixer. but I use bitmixer.io . very few people have problems with their service.

P.S
http://foggeddriztrcar2.onion IS bitcoinfog.com

Something is not right.

Never received any coins.

Coins here seem to go out to a mixer.

Can you open electrum for us, right click on the transaction where you received your funds (the link with the green V at the beginning), then go to "copy id to clipboard" and paste the transaction id on this thread....

Something is fishy, and we need to get to the bottom of it ;)

took this from another thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1375633.0) you just made.

https://blockchain.info/tx/3650d679f59b6ae0bbe59e353a472b62cb540b20f5966b81f041e2d73852ffaa

Strange, cause this said .1BTC was transered.  guess i'm only out $40.... =/  I will try mitmixer.io tomorrow on payday and hopefully all goes well as
I can't lose THAT amount. xP

I assume this is the tx Id you copied from electrum? which one of these is your electrum address?

also please keep it in one thread.  ;)

3650d679f59b6ae0bbe59e353a472b62cb540b20f5966b81f041e2d73852ffaa

This was the .1BTC sucessfully deposited:
e688d761a8742715e667cba366c3c41c4b7141ad4b6611767052721caad0978e

This was the Wallet the .1BTC was deposited into in case that helps...

so 15NjzaMhVZ9erBEVdvFmeWtqjfpJXyBTsT is your electrum address? and the bitcoin was sent to 12azuscncZJTWoYbzYbHrG39bX18qUTqk8 by someone else other than you?

if that's the case then you might want to stop using your current wallet and its addresses because someone for some reason might have your private key or, worse case, your wallet seed.

I suggest you scan your PC for malwares and create an entirely new wallet.

edit:
IF 12azuscncZJTWoYbzYbHrG39bX18qUTqk8 is a fogger address and you're the one who sent bitcoins there then it's normal for the bitcoins to get sent to some unknown addresses, that's just how fogger/mixer works. but in this case the fogger service you used is scammy so the bitcoins may never arrive.

I see, my guess is your computer/private keys are compromised, any coins arriving in your wallet will be sent to attacker's address and immediately mixed.

Chances are that the OP sent the coins to the mixing service himself... At least, that was what he was trying to do in the OP... But if strange things happen, i think it's always a good idear to clean your pc/change your wallet just to be sure...

OP posted another thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1375633.0  - if i read this and the other thread it looks he bought btc and try to mix them. but i may be wrong. i am not sure what he is trying to tell us or what his problem is exactly.
