Hello people!

I've got some idle coins I don't know what to do with. Do you have any idea of what's best to use? Funding on poloniex or bitfinex?

I mean, where are the higher rates of course, but also where is it the easiest to get the funding offer taken ;)

i personally can advise bitfinex, it's simple and easy interface, of course before invest always study the situation...good luck

I recommend bitfinex if you want to do bitcoin trading and if you like to go with alts than poloniex is best choice. I also do the same  ;)

in my opinion bitfinex is better than poloniex and you will get better price at there for trade your bitcoin.

I have used poloniex a few times and this worked always perfect.
I didn't know the existance of bitfinex. It is the first time i see this exchange. Thanks for informating about this exchange. I am certainly gonna try bitfinex as well as i see the possitive comments above.

one was hacked in the past the other not but the other(bittrex) permitted that some altcoin, used some trick to scam basically, by not checking the code properly

i would use both they are equal to me, they offer the same thing

What requirements does Bitfinex ask for? For Poloniex, you need to give your real name even for only crypto currency withdrawals. You can give a fake name (everyone uses a fake name unless they want bigger limits than 2,000 USD a day but unless you are rich you will not need that), but I still don't like the idea of they requesting your name, so is there any other exchanges that aren't tired to ridiculous KYC rules?

bitfinex is better than poloniex,as we know poloniex has limited amount of funds,its make some people shuold have better rank if they want increase the limit.and bitfinex dont have this feature.

Bitfinex of course, but just to add; We have seen the largest altcoin exchanges go bankrupt due to their greedy owners steeling from their custommers. I don't say this will happen with Poloniex, but it's something to keep in mind. History tend to repeat quite often.

I never used Bitfinex, but I used Poloniex a lot and I must say I just like the interface.
I used to like mintpal but they are gone now, so my advice go with poloniex.
And use there two authenticate method so you always log in with the extra code.

I haven't use bitfinex and never saw it yet until today.
Poloniex is okay for me but I think I'd like bitfinex much better. I'm gonna try it sooner and let's see what is best.

I think its better in bitfinex simple concept and easy to understand. I really don't know about poloniex i never heard it before This is my first time to heard about poloniex.

It is basically the same service (cryptocurrency trading platform) with the different name.
The only difference is that Poloniex allows you to trade multitude of altcoins and Bitfinex is focused on Bitcoin, litecoin and Dash.

I use polo myself, its a great site with a nice UI   ;D

I'd recommend poloniex. I've never used bitfinex anyway, and polo seems to be easier to use.

Keep in mind that bitfinex supports for alt coin is very limited. I used to buy dash there, now they quit dash too.
They only support litecoin. But they have loan program. If you don't trade, u can lend out your asset.

I never user bitfinex, poloniex has  bigger volume and for me the best exchange but choose its your decision i just use poloniex and yobit.

I don  know  bitfinex i ve been trading on poloniex a lot and i really like polo there are trading  help tools stop lose has saved my capital many times ithink stop lose is only available on Polo

I use Poloniex and never tried something else. I am really happy with the platform and never had an issue. I can recommend you to use it.

bitfines is better place than poloniex if you can complete registration with upload id card etc.
for me if i have "altcoin" i will use bittrex, for bitcoin i use Btc-e

Btw, you do not need to submit your id or address on Poloniex. Unless you are going to trade above $2000 a month.

I suggest the bitfinex. in my opinion, better than the bitfinex poloniex, there you will get a good price, and reliable.

poloniex have fair price,all altcoin not have different price than other exchange,but i more suggest you to choose poloniex because so many good feature there.

I prefer more poloniex exchange because sometimes it has more volume of some alternate coins that I'm more interested.

I find Poloniex better, but then I like to speculate on Alts, and Poloniex is very good for that.
You can get decent returns lending out your bitcoin on both, but if you are happy to risk it, you can get better rates lending alts too.

I find it both very good with no many differenciec. Although, Poloniex maybe has some features tha I like better and its maybe better for altcoins.

poloniex is more interesting and useful if you are into altcoins, You can use it usually with bitcoins but it's isn't a base exchange, Bitfinex is mainly about BTC and USD and can be better if you are buying new bitcoins with USD.

Bitfinex is more user friendly and more secure IMO, Poloniex is mainly for trading newer crypto's IMO.

I think poloniex more better. they are more well-known and certainly more secure.

yea.. poloniex focus at altcon trade not at USD pair. sometimes i use poloniex to trade my altcoin.

The 2 hardly compare. Bitfinex is not much useful, you can only trade BTC with LTC and ETH, whereas Poloniex lets you trade dozens of altcoins, so I say it's way, way better. Kraken is also better than bitfinex, it lets you trade more cryptos, but less than Poloniex.

Well i only use two exchanges at the moment yobit and my main investment is at poloniex as it has for me the best exchange ,with severals options to invest as they were the firsts to implement margin trades as lending service,not like btcjam where you can withdraw the money and run away.

Bitfinex. I've previously had trouble with poloniex and they froze my $300 for almost half a year. After that, they deleted my account. Wtf...
