Title: xcurrency
Post by: mybitcoin101 on February 25, 2016, 11:56:34 AM
Hi,

Are you working with XCurrency?

The web page goes to a porn site. I believe we can revive this coin.

Thanks,

mb

The last post on their official announcement was february 2015 this crypto currency can now be considered a dead coin and maybe the admin has sold the domain to a posrn site owner, usually porn owner buy site with high traffic to generate more leads..

This can be called the scam!
How much btcs they have collected during ico of BLOCK coin?
They have even created majority of those false coins to make everything look so good!

It's a dead coin.
Like robelneo said, the owner sold the domain to a porn site.

I didn't really expect that much from xcurrency, but I didn't think it would end this way.

dan the scam

but will block or xc return... who knows. Some things happening with block I hear. However really he will never live down selling XC out like that after all the hype. So perhaps neither will return.

There was a lot of dirt unearthed about XC. Pretty hard coming back from that. Not too mention it was basically abandoned when the Blocknet plan was hatched. But XC/Blocknet has a full time spin doctor well versed with "baffle with bullshit" so who knows if an attempt at reviving both will happen here.

How much time has passed?
Do you see any progress till today,if i remember this was great amount of btc collected?
This is deliberately slow killing of xc demonstrated here.
Now only bagholders trading this BLOCK coin.

If BLOCK comes back so must XC

XC will never let dan forget this coin was meant to be the coin he supported and that he stated BLOCK would not take priority from XC

If he really sold all XC holders out to fund BLOCK then he is in for a big problem if he wants to bring BLOCK back that is ... or work on any cryptocurrency project.

You can't sell people out in crypto and expect they forget.

I'm personally hoping he is either out for good or is working hard to bring both projects back.

He could be considering using all his research and code for a new project but then he would have to remain well hidden behind layers for a long time else the new project will come under heavy fire.

I understand that he may be working hard.
But in crypto meaning of time is very different thing from time in real world.
If you are not active for a year this is it, no turning back, find yourself a new coin and invest.
I would like to see this reviving , but hardly. :-\

This must be a wakeup call to stop supporting ico scams.
I remember XC was very promising till that moment they collected this money.
From that time only decline in price has happened.
Why they don't bring some announcement?
Conclusion : every ico is a SCAM!

Not every ICO is scam but 99% ICO coins are scams . I'm new to the trading but I learned soon about ICO scams due to yobit . ;D
I lost much time and money in yobit ICO's :)

yes i think XC is probably dead... however if it is BLOCK is dead and so is dans credibility .

To fix these and have any part in crypto again he will need to fix up block and xc. I think he is working on BLOCK. However he can not be allowed to have screwed over XC holders like that and just take all their work and funds for design of BLOCK.

It simply will not wash. So he either finds away to support both or he is out of crypto for good. Of course all the xc investors that were promised so much will not simply forget the past.

It is rumoured that block has a decentralised exchange in beta. I believe the source of this rumour. However where that leaves XC i am not sure. XC was originally promised that but then somehow it got moved to blocknet??

Yes both may be dead and dan will not partake in crypto again..... but i don't see that. He has a taste for crypto now and will not leave. He may tried to hide behind layers of privacy and take all the funds and research and start a new project. However he will have to be sneaky since lots of smart people on here will sniff him out.

Can you tell us more about those rumors or maybe some link please.

Are you referring he would stand behind some other coins in future, or maybe he already is?

I contacted Dan last week and told him about the porn site attached to the coinmarketcap.com web page and nothing has been done.
I made recommendations on slack and some ahole responded to me by saying I should buy more because I said there was only
$67 in volume in 24 hours.

Just let it go and forget it.Now we know for sure what was all about!

There is much opportunity in other coins don't stick with just one. This is most common mistake here.

As I say. I was told in person. Is this a fact - no it is not. Could have been doing something all this time. Who knows what they have been up to.

Would I gamble more money on those projects at the moment - certainly not.

There is an outside chance they will be back. If they have been working on xc and block then fair enough.

If however they took the funding from xc and block and try to port this funding technology to a new coin then I hope they get caught out and punished.

Yes but some people still believe this is for sure. How come no one reacts ?
I would be considered responsible at least to update once in a while, not to vanish on Slack. Now if they decide to bring something, this must be epic because they almost ruined as authority and as a project.

Yes.  He was losing his house and dumping premised xc without telling anyone.  Then they closed the ann thread and moved to slack.  Then sold their site to a porn site.

There is some movement on their slack, they prepare some things but dont say much aboud it. Even if they come out, people should be carefull with investing because they can  dissapeare for months again w/o any word. The truth is Dan and coleages dont care about people and their wallets. I lost a lot of money by them, so guys just be carrelull if you consider to invest in this "project" (sorry for english)

Anyone that has been around long enough probably remember the EPIC dump that was XC.  I do say it was probably the fastest game of "catch the falling dagger" as I have ever seen in crypto.  I think everyone who was holding XC remembers where they were when this event happened.  =)

I think its safe to say this coin is dead, and has been for a while.  Its easier for devs just to start a new coin sometimes than revive an old one.
