Title: Selling BTC remotely to a bitcoin ATM
Post by: bitcoinik on February 25, 2016, 05:22:37 PM
Just came across this, looks like an interesting way to get cash quick for bitcoin. You can do it on any device with any wallet and it tells you when the cash is ready.

Anybody try this yet? How did it go?

Thanks for the information. Now only I came to know such advancement in the bitcoin exchange. There might be only limited access and available only in certain regions. If such ATM gets established a lot also people will know something about bitcoin which is needed for bitcoins growth.

I heard about this concept few years back

However i was confused who will be the issuing authority or who will be keeping the funds as such there is not a single person to claim that bitcoin is issued by us

However if such a thing comes up it will certainly increase visibility of bitcoin :)

For example, if you live in France, there is only one bitcoin ATM in one small city, which works 2 hours a day. If you live in that city, then yes, it is good service.  :)
