Title: Scam alert: Stay away from gifts4coins.tk (stealing bitcoins for Amazon gifts) Post by: bullzeye on January 21, 2013, 03:15:19 PM I got burned by www.gifts4coins.tk.
They're supposedly selling Amazon gift cards and gift codes for bitcoins, and they've cleverly priced their $100 card at 4.3 BTC to make it seem like you're getting a really good deal. I should have realized it was too good to be true. It's a week later, and still no gift card. They e-mailed me saying it was a pricing error and to send another 4 BTC and then they'd send me the gift code. Funny thing is, they haven't corrected the price on their site. I created a forum account on here specifically to say: stay as far away as possible from gifts4coins.tk! As a newbie, I can't post this in the scam forum, but maybe a mod can move it there. |
