Title: Moving Average Stradegies? Post by: hitchingAride on February 26, 2016, 08:26:58 PM Personally I like to use the 50 day sma with the shorter 15 sma crossover strategy. I don't really like ema for crossover Stradegies because I think it will get more whipsaw and a sma will be more decisive about market movements. Although I like to use MACD. I wonder what are some recommendations for moving average lengths for the crypto markets it seems like we have shorter history especially with some of the alt coins so I have been avoiding something like a 200 sma.

The longer the MA, the larger unrealised loss you may have to stomach. |
