Title: Re: Kano chicken recipe Post by: bitbunnny on February 27, 2016, 03:26:29 PM Why it has to be cooked so long? Chicken is delicate meat, isn't that too much?
Title: Re: Kano chicken recipe Post by: notbatman on February 27, 2016, 04:02:09 PM What about the pressure cooker, can we cut this down to minutes?
Also that can of "organic" tomatoes is questionable. Fresh tomatoes are available year-round and can be roasted in the pan after the chicken, onion and peppers are brown. Chicken is delicate meat, isn't that too much? key is temp of 240f = 115c it allows for slow cooking. this is much like crockpot cooking. It warms the home and gives spectacular aroma. It is meant for a cool winter day. I have fast recipes for chicken which involve stir fry style .
