Title: [ANN] BitCC - VISA debit cards for Bitcoins Post by: BitCC on January 22, 2013, 11:33:43 PM Announcing BitCC - VISA debit cards for Bitcoins
Dear Bitcoin folks, I'd like to announce BitCC, a service that allows you to buy real VISA debit cards by Bitcoins. It's an easy and secure way to exchange Bitcoins for debit cards that can be used anywhere on the web, online and offline. See all the thrilling details at https://bitcc.herokuapp.com/. What's the offer? I offer three types of debit cards: BitCC Fast, BitCC Smart and BitCC Flex. These are mywirecard 2go VISA (http://mywirecard.com/en/visa.html) cards with a balance of 25€, so no fraud or theft involved. All cards come with a card number, validity date, cardholder's name and CVV, ready to use.
How does it work? Simple as hell. Just go to BitCC (https://bitcc.herokuapp.com/) and choose the card you like. After placing your order, you pay by Bitcoin to a special address. As soon as I receive your payment, I'm going to process your order (manually for now). The card's details will be sent by mail. Thats it. FAQ (that have never been asked before...) Q: Is this a fraud? Did you steal those cards? A: No, these are mywirecard 2go VISA (http://mywirecard.com/en/visa.html) cards offered in retail shops in Germany, so no fraud or theft involved. Q: Do you offer bigger amounts than 25€? A: Yes, please contact me. Q: Where are the cards registered? A: Germany. Q: Can I register the cards with my PayPal account? A: Yes, I confirmed that. Q: Can I use the cards to shop at more than one merchant? A: Yes, there is no such restriction (as opposed e.g. to virtual MasterCards) Have fun! This is a point. OP, see here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=124441.0)? Title: Re: [ANN] BitCC - VISA debit cards for Bitcoins Post by: goshakkk on November 29, 2013, 07:05:04 PM The service is terrible... Well. Not just terrible. It must be a scam.
A few days ago I needed to get a virtual Visa card for Bitcoin. I remembered hearing about BitCC some time ago and I decided to get one from there. (I know I should have researched on BitCC before using it. The .herokuapp.com domain should have been a red flag, and so should've lack of any feedback about BitCC on the web, inactive poster's profile on BCT, and this dead thread.) So I made an order and paid the money and... waited. A few hours later, there was still no word from them. There was no word from them a few days later. I've tried emailing bitcc@inbox.com but they do not seem to reply either. 4 DAYS, still nothing. It looks like it really is a scam.
