As much as I really do like the Terracoin Logo (and the screaming parody- anyone put that in 'the scream' yet?) I'd like to put a bounty out there for a new Terracoin logo and a set of Icons to go along with it. This way people developing services have something to show for icons.

Basically I'm looking for someone to design a set of Terracoin logos, plus some "Terracoin/Accepted here", "Terracoin/ Pay now" icons. This isn't an exhaustive list, just some examples. Style wise they should look good, like something you would see on modern websites for endconsumers.

I'll pay 1000TRC for a finished Terracoin Logo and icon set, but I'd like to have some input in the design.

First one is the default icon and second could be shown when moused over the first one to give a highlight effect.

Would like to work on this but I have no idea what I'd do with a 1000TRC  ::)

I think it's a nice direction, but still a little 1980's tech corporation for me. I'm thinking something more plasticy-feeling, modern- web 3.0 kinda. Softer.

Sure, I can see what you mean.  I'll make some changes and maybe go in a bit of a different direction.  By the way, how important is scalability?  The samples I posted are all vectored so can be scaled infinitely without any loss in quality.  I'm assuming you're not planning on creating any billboards or doing too much print so working with rastered files instead shouldn't be a problem?  Could broaden options a bit.

Is Sylfaen a system font?  Sorry, I have a million fonts so not sure which ones are included with Windows.

The crescent makes it look a little like "the islamic coin of Terra".

I like the direction golden wings was going in terms of simplicity and clean. Although the heart is strange.

I agree about keeping it clean and simple.  Simple is always better and won't age.

I do like the simplicity of Golden Wing's idea, I'm not a fan of cursive fonts though.  Zaph Chancery is always overused in the wrong places and it's turned me off.  I like his shopping cart. :)

My take on "web 3.0" is "gloss and candy", but a change in direction is cool too.  At this point if you have a bias towards a specific direction or want to see some tweaks let us know.

I think this is nice.  Centre the text tho ;)

Thanks, good one. Coins are round and Terra (Earth) is also round, so I can't find reason to be in other shape. For me the true is somewhere between the logo above and blue-Earth-square logo. :)

Why not go triangular?

I am tempted to agree with you. It's simple, clean, yet clear.

The site you linked has website/business logos. I browsed a few pages and didnt see any suitable for a currency.

Actually if I understand it right, you pay a flat fee for professional freelance designers to pitch ideas, and then for a flat fee you get to pick one. A very good idea to be honest.

I've decided that I like Goldenwings logo set the best- I downloaded the RAR and there were lots of great icons in it. I'm still not crazy for the heart :-) but I like the set. I've sent Goldenwings the 1000TRC as the bounty winner to the address in his sig. :-)

Only noticed this today. As Terra means Earth I think the logo should really have the Earth in it - like a latin T on a slight angle with a round Earth in the background - if I have time I might send you some stuff anyway Crazy Rabbit :)

Wow that is really, really nice :) Maybe the Earth should be green and blue coloured like the real Earth? Then I think it would be absolutely perfect but that's just my opinoin I really like it any way :)
