I have seen people selling accounts on this forum.
But what I wondered is how many accounts do these people usually have?
Is there a set rule on how many accounts you can have?

There isn't , you can have how much you want but you shouldn't spam otherwise you will end up getting banned .(Even if you get banned in one account you are not allowed to use the other ones as-well) .

No, you're allowed to have as many accounts as you want. But don't come crying when one of the accounts you sell gets in hand of a sig spammer and as a result you and all of your other alts get banned.

Thanks for your reply, I was honestly curious because I saw people selling ten or more accounts at the same time.
I wont even bother with it myself, I like having only one account. Bet it is a big hassle to juggle multiple accounts.

I don't know why or how these people farm accounts. It must take so much effort. Accounts don't sell for that much at the moment any way. Waste of time if you ask me, look how long it takes to even become a senior member.

Some accounts who got sold are hacked accounts from people who got victim of this scumbags. You have also people who create 30 accounts and are 24/7 posting on this forum so they can sell them after a period of posting

Its really not that hard to pick up accounts and make a profit off them. Quite often you will see a account in need of a loan and offering their account in exchange for the loan and they lose it if they do not pay. So they loan a small amount and end up with a potential of making more by getting the account from say Jr. member to Full member and selling it.

If you watch any real heated discussion on this forum you notice multiple accounts being used to prove a point. Its common and because people with trusted accounts have been here a long time they can hide the connection to those accounts more than say a newer account. Reason is they can sit on the account and pay less,if I was to buy a account to prove a issue it would cost more because I would need it to be higher ranked right away.

As for how many they could have its really hard to say. Some might have just one and others could have so many they forget some of them along the trail.

They don't, but you know people use them for 1) sig campaigns and 2) scamming.  And they can be sold even if the market is poopy right now.  I don't know, it's sketchy but profitable.

Wow that will to much load of works on their part only had one account here but it always took me the whole day to complete 20 post enough for my signature links maximum payout requirements,or I should say they have people who can work on their accounts,In my opinion it's not worth it..

i can bet my ass that every single member here has an alt, if they are not using for illecit thing or sold to scammer, i don't see any problem in having more than one
