Title: "I want to be able to vote online..." Post by: commandrix on March 01, 2016, 03:39:50 PM ...says one of my Facebook friends. Of course I had to tell him that this might be possible in the near future if the government implements Blockchain technology for voting and post a link to a video that explains how it works. If you're American, you might know that some people have been trying to throw up the smokescreen that efforts to fight voter fraud is somehow racist and the Blockchain could make a decent compromise that wouldn't really care about anything other than whether you meet the qualifications to vote. Some states are starting to talk about automatically registering people to vote (and I think California's doing it) when they're qualified and the Blockchain could do that just by pulling from citizenship and birth records that establish American citizenship.

do you realise how corrupt some goverments already are just take Singapore for example they abduct tourists and extort them for money the police force and judicial system including lawyers not to mention your own embassy there is totally blatantly in your face CORRUPT and people fly through their thinking its some kind of nice place :D (now go back to the part where it says your own Embassy) Title: Re: "I want to be able to vote online..." Post by: learncoin on March 01, 2016, 04:01:20 PM I guess voting is possible even without blockchain protocol. With basic understanding of internet, people can vote using their IDs as passwords in a simple https page.
But then again, there can be several other problems such as location of the voter, internet connectivity, fraud and of course corruption within election officials.
