How much will this bubble continue to grow?
It has now more than 10% of bitcoin market cap. Only Ripple reached that level for a long time, and maybe Ltc for a shorter time.
Will ethereum match btc market cap? It has a lot of potential and bitcoin doesn't work as good as it used to because of the scalability problem.

Anyone still ignoring Ethereum needs their head examined.  Ethereum will likely take the lead in crypto

Well I want to become a user but not at the actual high prices. At 2$ I would buy a lot.

It is indeed a great raise it had. Some people were laughing at me for doing ETH faucets a month ago when it was sub 0.008, and it paid to do that.

Where to mine it for profit?

I don't see it used by sites and accepted by merchants yet. If maybe someday, even if tis $100 people will buy it if its casually used by gambling sites but as of now, i don't see it something worth going into. let the early adopters be early themselves.  ;D

Ethereum might get more users in the coming days. For such a instant growth, if you say it would likely to lead in crypto, its not true.
Just of few days analysis you can't Conclude soon it would overcome bitcoin.

It doesn't look like it's being used as a currency.  So there is no point in me buying any.  I use bitcoin as a payment system.  Not to speculate and trade.

Myself, I sold what little ETH I had, along with some other coins, and rolled the bulk of the balance into some Factom.

Yep.  I think its just time for a normal pause.  But we do have Homestead coming.  My guess is we're going to do the pullback thing, stabilize in low/mid 8's, then spring upwards again and maybe next settle is in the 10's.  Then a few start/stops, then I think we hit the $1Billion mark sometime in April.

And yes, I am still predicting/pumping an awareness of XRP/Ripple.  I am just saying to watch it.   It's just a gut thing that we're going to hear some news within the next 2 months.  I think everyone should start putting a little profit into XRP/Ripple.  Not so much that I think it will go ballistic immediately, but it is always to get used to a coin, before you dump a lot in.  That is how I started with Ethereum (which I WILL be keeping).

Think of this, Ethereum already has over 25% of the nodes that Bitcoin has.  And everyone says that the main number 1 reason that Bitcoin is so valuable is because of it's network effect is so huge.

Well, if network effect is the most important thing in crypto than technically ETH should be valued at 25% of BTC market cap.

That would make price roughly $21.00/ETH.

In that case I would argue that ETH is still grossly undervalued.  And Ethereum network effect is growing faster every day...

Thats a wierd metric.  Ethereum is valued at what Ethereum is valued at.  It may be higher tomorrow morning, and it may be lower tomorrow morning.  But I feel pretty certain that in 2 weeks it will be higher than it is today.  But it is going to follow a path up.  It may be a steep path, but it will have starts and stops.

But just as fast as it has become the darling coin, another could take the lead.  That is why it is best to have a diversity of coins.  For example.... I hear there could be Lightening News coming soon.  That will slow Eth and put Bitcoin back in focus.

But regardless, the overall trend WILL continue to be up.  So HODLing is a steady safe path up.

Ether is a HUGE scam. This coin has no liquidity. If you try to sell 10,000 Ether, you will literally crash the market.
The fact that almost all of it is traded on some shady exchange no one has heard before Ether, Poloniex, says more than enough!

Have you got any facts to support your sentence? Because this has been said when ETH reached 2$, again when it reached 4/5$, again when it reached 7$ and again when it reached 10$... For the moment most of you guys arguing that ETH is a pump has been wrong and I hope you will continue to be wrong for a while

If people just start buying ETH, theyll see some of those who pumped this coin will dump their millions on exchange leaving the coin down to its minimum.  I'd be the first to dump but i have some ETH to keep. Who knows they'd really take this seriously to make it $500.

I've been using Poloniex for years buddy, long before ETH came along. Can you backup that statement with any facts?

Bullshit. Poloniex has good history of reimbursing hacked accounts, has the best interface for trading IMO, and it's not buggy as some others.

Poloniex is not a player when it comes to exchanges. The volume is faked and they have not provided any proof for it.

It suddenly came out of nowhere and most of its volume comes from btc/eth . Literally none of the exchanges that matter carry this shit coin.

Never had any issues so far with Poloniex. And I've traded more than ETH there.

You may be right about the fake volume. The fact that ETH volume is more at Poloniex than Bittrex is weird.

Maybe I'm not understanding the logic behind ETH... i'm very confusing abouth ETH, I confess... the value comes from where? I mean, BTC price rose too fast and falls very fast... lot of bad moments were passed and stability was the rule for the BTC market. Now it's a stable time to Bitcoin because the acceptance s natural, and like any physical currency, it's becoming a trade product and, once again, the acceptance (what i think it's the key to make a real price for any currency) is geting bigger... but, when I look to ETH I don't know exactly where this acceptance is... so, TO ME, it seems that, this currency will pass through a very turbulent period before it stabilize... I believe ETH will be great, but this "U$10 time" remembers, in a small scale, the period of a year before the BTC bubble in 2013/14.... but lot of blood, sweat and tears has rolled since the BTC bubble, and a "universe" was created around BTC, lot of digital news, lotta exchanges, merchant tools, bank acceptance, countries discuss, tons of debates, ideas, anything you can imagine, even lotta weird stuffs like a thread here ask to user about the weirdest thing you ever buy wih Bitcoin. Maybe ETH is in it's new born age, and it takes time to be "little more strong", like BTC from late 2012 until early days of 2014, then the currency moved to it's maturity age, and late (maybe) it will consolidate. But I think it will be like, a year from now, maybe little less.

Let's do some conversation... I think it needs a lot of conversastion; but, it will be cool.

Polo is becoming a huge player in the crypto exchange space on the back of the BTC/ETH pair.

Many days in the crypto exchange have Polo as #1 volume, Kraken as #2. Gatecoin even comes in at #3 sometimes! Major exchanges that are not offering ETH trading are leaving a shit load of money on the table. I wouldn't imagine that will continue for long.

Okay, I might as well confess: when Etherium's ICO was going on, I looked at the thousands of BTC collected and thought, "This is going to be another Ripple." That's why I didn't buy any back in '14.
