Regarding REP, you can only buy/sell REP on gatecoin, and we will allow REP transfers as soon as Augur is released. The beta version is about to be available, so the final version should be released in the coming months. Leaving 1 Bitcoin in an exchange is not the smartest thing to do, especially after many other exchanges have been victims of so called hacks which in reality are inside jobs and the people behind these hacks walking away without any problem. Exchange cannot co-operate with other exchangers to freeze coins as the guy who steal the coins, makes a nice mixing before he goes to other exchanges selling them and he is not stupid to sell them at once. Anyway bitcoin is only safe in your desktop or hardware wallet. Sorry for your loss.
