Title: Gas limit too low in ETH transaction?
Post by: Abiky on March 05, 2016, 08:43:55 PM
Hey I have been exploring the Ethereum platform myself, learning more about it each day. I have been using web wallets like (name of web wallet here) with the purpose to send ETH from one address to another. However, when I send 1 ETH from the wallet, all I get is an error message saying: "Gas limit too low"

Any reason why I get this message? Sorry for asking, I am just not quite knowledgeable about Ethereum yet. I still got a lot to learn.

By the way, the wallet has 2.7 ETH in total balance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  :)

About the wallet I was using, that same wallet is called MyEtherWallet which is an online wallet. Do you think that the issue could be the wallet itself? If so, then I think I would use Mist just to be sure. Still, I would like to know about the meaning of "Gas limit too low" when making an ETH transaction.  :)
