Hi there,

Post here in which way you prefer keep your capital e.g. bank account, cash, gold etc.

I prefer keep cash in my home  :) Also I have some bitcoins..

I don't trust banks in my country.

What about you?

Got a few thousand in the bank, invested in gold and silver coins, some physical bitcoins in the collection and the plan is to buy some land when enough is saved up.

Diversification is the key mate, although I have to admit that I still love too much to keep real dollars in my hands. I really don't rely on banks, and prefer to invest in several instruments, spreading my money in different accounts and currencies.

I too very like keep cash dollars in my hands  :) It is more pleasurable then keep plastic debit card..

Actually my opinion is different from you, i will refer to Bank account, it is safe for me.
otherwise i will do some business and also buy some Bitcoins and wait for halving. 

I keep the 99% in a bank account but I would like to buy some gold or silver.

I keep most of my money in the bank. I invest and I'm sure I would not lose a lot of money to me.

I prefer to keep cash in the house, most in the bank. However, in terms of bitcoins i use the virtual wallet blockchain

I prefer 25% cash, 25% gold/precious metals/jewelry, 25% bitcoin, 25% land.

Well I live in The Netherlands, and I never really trusted the pin.
Always when I went shopping I would go to the bank first withdraw the money so I have it in my hand.
And also I don't like a wallet at all I just keep my money in my pockets where I want.

I hate when I see people with a wallet in there back pocket they are just asking to be robbed :P

I keep most of my money in the bank. I keep a little in bitcoin and I don't have any in gold and none at home.

Back when I was young and impressionable I dated this stripper that had a thing for being water boarded. She showed me the best way to carry the money was off her g string. She liked to beat me, so we had to end it.
But I still hold my money in her zebra print thong though.

I don't like keeping money, I like spending it.  ;D Seriously, I keep it in a bank account and part of it I invest in Bitocin, some little part in shares too.

I m amazed that you are saying bank is not safe, bank is always safe account.
may be in your city not safe. otherwise i will keep my cash in house.

Here in our country the best place to keep your money is by buying some lands, franchising or even invest in jewelry, because thr value of the jewelry never get down.

Of course in bitcoin, I stored my money in blockchain so if something happen to my house like robbed or burned then my money is safe in the internet. ;D

Bitcoin is money and we shud use it as money. Sometimes my money changing shapes..

For physical money I have a pouch that resembles a tiny, tiny sack that I like to keep in my purse. I have money in the bank and some invested in a small business and a trust fund also.

Definitely in the bank.  Everything has risk, but I think that is the least risky place to store most money right now.

Agreed, anyone familiar with this pyramid scams? One of my friend did member but I think he didnt really wanted to expose himself selling so he quit and the money he used for membership was not returned.

Money is not good if it is not used or invested.
That can become problem for bitcoin, because bitcoin is money but is used more like investment
 and this can become problem for new users because they also want to get money investing in BTC.

Pyramid scams are just like ponzi scheming sites , you will earn at the first place but as the time goes by, if the site has many members and investment already they will run away and keep all the money they got from investors. Beware there is no easy money with investments(ponzi or even with products), mostly they are scams.

I prefer to keep my money in the bank, because whatever I have in my hand, I can't resist myself from using it. So, I just have some money cash at my home.

for the sake of being prudent keep 40% of your money (savings) with a bank and another portion in cash equivalent  assets and the rest cash and btc is

Money is debt! One day this paper can become worthless, this happened many times around the world in last 50 years.

banks I guess, is there a better way? I just hope and pray that what happenef in greece is the ecxeption and not the rule, and as was the case in the USA, if evet there is a problem.Hopefully the goverment will help bailout

The word "money" has its meanings. But basically it is a means for transferring value. And as such, it is valuable in itself.

Probably the best way to hold money that you aren't going to use for transferring, but just to hold the value of it, is in holding full and complete title to land. Good, fertile land that has its own source of good water is very valuable. It is something that can give you food and water and a place to live when all other forms of money fail. And, you can transfer title to it, even though not as easily as you can trade other forms of money.

Keep some money in a bank. Use it to live more comfortably. But only keep as much there as you need to use on a daily basis. Inflation makes money to constantly lose value.

Start trading in Bitcoin to extend the use of Bitcoin to bypass the insecurity of the banks, and their inflation.

Keep gold and silver in small denomination coins so that you can use it to trade, if necessary. In the States, buy bags of old quarters and dimes that have some silver in them. You can use them for literal money if necessary (if the banks fail) or you can trade them in for the silver content in the future.

Right now silver is a good deal. Buy silver if you can keep it safe (NOT in a bank safety deposit box).

If we talk about money, i love it in my pocket or in my wallet. But if we talk about bitcoins i'm not sure what is best choice. If you keep coins in cold wallet they are frozen. If you trade with them you can easily earn more, but risk is high.

I have a big garden and an olive tree in that big garden. I dig a hole and bury my money. ;D Better than giving to banks. They are robbers

I prefer to withdraw my bitcoins and encash it. And after that keep it to my bank account.

I rather put in a cold wallet rather than withdrawing it and spend it on something that I want to.

Bitcoin wallet is best for me.

I keep it under my mattress!!!  No I do not, just a funny saying.  I like to keep my money invested in other businesses.  I have some invested here and there and when I actually need something, I just sell something off.  Buy and sell, buy and sell, that is the name of the game.

I don't believe why you say Bank not trust able , i believe bank is safeguard of your money, but maybe your country's bank not suitable for you.
But the answer is firstly i will refer to bank for my money.   

Use the bank but slowly building up other aspects. Bitcoin will be one but plan to have some gold as well.

LOL. I used to do this until my brother secretly take money from there on a daily basis. I prefer my money to be inside my house so I can easily take it out with me when I'm going to buy something. I don't want to swipe a card in an ATM and withdraw my money, just a hassle to find an ATM.

Can't you use banks in another country?

I don't trust banks either. Within EU, it's "guaranteed" up to 100,000 euro per person if the bank fails. That money comes from other banks, or government.
That means, if a big bank fails, it's too expensive to fix. Hence the term "too big to fail". If that happens, your economy has bigger problems than your savings disappearing into thin air.

I want 50% of my money cash, 20% on the bank and 30% on bitcoins.

I think will just store it then use it when commodities have lowered on taxes or prices.

The best way for me is invest 70% on businesses with guaranteed returns and keep 30% of it in the bank to earn some interest.

I am using bank for keeping my money, it's not so bad how people taling about it.  Best way to have no problems with money is monitoring it evry day

I believe that the best way to keep money in the bank or card account . It is very convenient. No need to carry a large amount of money . Now it is very popular and a great way to keep their money .
