Title: Testnet bitcoins
Post by: crazydownloaded on January 26, 2013, 11:37:22 AM
Hello,

Could anyone send me some testnet bitcoins? My address is: ms3aw8X8En9eC1WpersEwkk22DG7v3Ye8A
50 or so would be great
I already mined some of them, but they are still immature... and I guess it will take A LONG TIME before I could play with them.

Thanks!

There's also a useful testnet faucet and web wallet service at https://tpfaucet.appspot.com/

Is this currently working?  I tried to do a transfer, and it said it sent one testnet BTC, but the total amount it says it has didn't go down.

If somebody could send a testnet coin or two to muc6ULwWdAPAHtETQGLFbXJM9xp4xJEqhi, I'd be grateful and would return back to the sending address or wherever you specify.

Thanks!  It looks like the testnet faucet worked, as well.

Returned 50.  Turns out it's really easy to mine testnet bitcoins. :)

No kidding.  I accidentally forgot I had my fpga miner on testnet an came home to 20,000 testnet BTC.

I sent 10k to that faucet.  If anyone else needs any, let me know.

Wish it was that easy on production eh!

We're choking under testnet coins as well ;)

Soon, we'll pay you to take them!

Edit: We're mining at ~ 2.7MH/s on the testnet chain. Some weeks, we get loads of blocks, maybe 1 in 5 or so. Other weeks, we get nothing. I think I know who's responsible for that now :D
