Title: Anyone tried Spicepay.com buying BTC with Paypal?
Post by: Dmonkas on March 07, 2016, 07:56:19 AM
Anyone tried Spicepay.com buying BTC with Paypal? They seems to take only 5-6%, but the account needs to be ID verified, which I don't like it much, but they are legit I'm willing to try. Please share your opinions. Thanks.

No one knew that site and i guess its just you. or maybe this is also just a shameless plug as well.  if the later, you'd probably have to build reputation here and maybe do some signature campaign sort of like an activity you can do to make it known to bitcoin community. Who knows the site will really be known because it does look like legit.

Why would they need to ID verify you?  Tax purposes?

They say it's for "Anti-Money Laundering" law.. Not sure how does it impacts Taxes thought.. I thought I'll just ask anyway.

I sort of think it's more of you, plugging in your exchange site. Although the site looks made in a professional manner, still people need to take caution when trying it since sometimes looks are deceiving and people get tricked into entering a trap. Lastly, there are some exchanges that take only 2% as a fee so it's rate are not competitive.
