Do you think it could be possible to mine ETH with your Android device? Perhaps, it could use the internal GPU to mine bits of ETH? ???

Perhaps, it could use the internal GPU to mine bits of ETH? ??? nope sry, eth needs the gpu to have at least 2GB of ram to allocate the DAG and the arm cpu in a phone would prolly have a very hard time keeping the miner hashing as it would easily be at 100% load if u do in the future mine anything with ur phone i wouldnt do it 24/7 my phone cost over $400 and mining on it would prolly kill it in months not to mention u prolly would barely clear $.01-.02 a day Title: Re: Can ETH be mined from an Android device? I thought that might happen, but I would just do it a little while to test it into my Android device. Maybe in the future, android devices will have powerful GPUs to be able to accomplish this task. In the meantime, I will just setup an ETH mining rig and SSH to it from within my phone. :) |
