Title: Want to make some BTC?
Post by: adaryian on March 08, 2016, 12:01:04 AM
Hello,

I own a web hosting company.  If you're interested in earning some extra money, it's pretty simple.   Sign up with us http://www.CustomServer.Space - Activate your account to become an affiliate after signing up.  You then get 15% commission for every sale you successfully get.  Our prices are extremely competitive, as low as $2.95/mo..

If you have any sales experience and would like to earn some extra cash, this would be a great opportunity for you.  Payouts will initially be once per month, depending on how many sales you get, this could change to a bi-weekly, or weekly venture.

I can either pay you in PayPal or in Bitcoin (minus any fees associated with the exchange from USD to BTC.)

Again, all you have to do is go to our website, sign up, click to be an affiliate and how you want to sell from there is up to you.  Just make sure you're doing it legal, honest and not selling anything that would be against our ToS or against the law in the US.

Any questions, PM me!

Thanks,
Adaryian

Please move this to the services section. I know where you thought this would go in beginners and help, but it sticks better on in services.
Of course i've also reported this thread if you don't want to move it yourself. No harm done, just think a bit harder next time. I've been in your spot before and it sometime gets confusing.
Cool service, it's a good one but I think i'll stick with a free host. The commission part is cool and i'll try to get some commissions if I can. But I really have no connections, so.. :c
i5 servers cost a bit much but compared to hosting your own its much cheaper compared to other hosts.

It is in the middle of services and also help.  I am trying to market to beginners and also help them obtain Bitcoin.   I do understand what you're saying and I don't disagree with it at all as it does fit in both, however, I feel it is better suited here because my intent is to reach out to a specific market, which is beginners and anyone else who is interested and helping them.

I appreciate the reply and feedback however.  I'm glad you think it's a cool service too! :)  As for the i5 servers, that's pretty low to most data centers in most cases.  It isn't on a home connection, it is a 1 Gbps down/up connection that will have a 99% or better up time.  I think they're definitely priced to sell, just currently I haven't been around here lately and I'm sure there is hesitation on the trust value, which is why in another thread in services I am doing some free giveaways in exchange for reviews and such.

Either way, thanks for the reply.  :)

I agree with him, better you move this topic or create new topic on service section. You will get more viewers on service section than this section. Good Luck for your company :)

Thanks to the mods for getting this moved over here.  I initially had this posted in Beginners/Help because of wanting to try to help out newer people to make some money with Bitcoin.

After a few comments, I decided it was in the wrong spot after all.  So, here is the post!  Just read the original at the top, the same applies!

The prices seem too low for the affiliates.I mean if the product costs are as low as "$2.5" and we are being paid 15 % - the transaction fees for every sale ,how much do you expect as to get ? Not saying this is something you can take care of as you have to run the business well but paying affiliates per sales probably won't be a good idea I think.

Sorry, but its not worth promoting this.

It would be a great opportunity for affiliate marketers especially for peoples who have marketing experience.
I just checked your service. It is quite good and easy and price are too good for buyers. But this commission is not good for affiliates. Only 15% of 2.95$ is just $0.44 . I think you are newbie in this industry. if you need some good success and want that more people work for you gent bring costumers for you then you should increase commission to 50%.

OP is trying to market beginners to earn some bitcoins and I think this one is better than faucets ( most beginners source of bitcoins ). Also there are other plans with higher just like the Xeon E3-1230v2 which cost $139 so 15% of that was a decent amount for beginners.

Anyways interesting promotion, I might try the affiliate program. Good luck to your service OP!

Thank you.  You definitely hit the nail on the head.

When I was speaking about the minimum package.  I was trying to express the low cost we offer.  Most hosting provider who charge sub $3/mo to get that rate ask you buy at least 1 years worth up front.  We don't.

We have dedicated servers as well, which go up to the price of $189, which would give you $28.35 in one sale.  This doesn't also include anything you sell in for a year! Or 2 years!

If you were to sell the $2.95 Web hosting plan for 1 year, which is pretty easy because it's at a discounted rate of $29.95, (very reasonable), that's $4.50 commission in one sale.

Before commenting on peanuts, take a moment and review on our services.  Do some quick math.  It's a good commission rate.

Please leave questions and comments below and I'll respond as fast as I can to them!

There is going to be a basic level offered on any of our plans.  My question is, if you're looking for quality DDoS protection up front, what are you doing to cause the need for someone to DDoS you?

I'll be making affiliate signatures here shortly with instructions, which will be pretty easy to understand to customize specifically for each affiliate.

Look back shortly for updates, as I will post another response to this thread letting you know, I've added it to the OP up top with the signature.

Title: Re: Want to make some BTC?

Made a pretty simple signature that should fit for most members.  If it's a little too large, just adjust the font size.

Once you become an affiliate, you'll simply just replace the number at the end of the link to yours, so for example I made mine, 001 (https://www.CustomServer.Space/aff.php?aff=001) you would replace 001 with whatever number yours is, which will be located in your ticket once you sign up.

Below is the code for making your signature!

Code:
[center][size=10pt][color=black][b]✓ Affordable Hosting  ✓ Instant Setup & Activation  ✓ cPanel  ✓ Softaculous ✓ 99% Uptime Guaranteed[/b][/color]
[size=14pt][glow=blue,2,300][color=yellow][b][url=https://www.CustomServer.Space/aff.php?aff=000][color=blue]www.CustomServer.Space[/color][/url][/b][/color][/glow][/size][/center]

OP is updated.  I went ahead and turned on automatic affiliates.  All you have to do is during sign up click that you want to become an affiliate and the system will automatically give you all your information needed to become one.

All statistics are live, and you can confirm that by checking the link count too.  Once payments are successful, it will automatically update your affiliate commission as well.

Added TLD's and new Generic English TLD's to our domain registration page.  We will constantly be adding to the list, we're about 50% complete with all the Generic English TLD's to be added.

This includes, registration, transfers and renewing.

Be sure to get signed up for an affiliate account so that you can start making money as soon as you get your first sale.  Once you sign up, you can log into your client area to see your statistics of who has clicked your link, the conversion rates along with pending payouts and maturation of each sale.

These statistics are live and will reflect your account immediately after each visit or sale.

I apologize about that.  It looks like I had a typo in the code.  Thanks for making me aware of that! (Yes, I am human!)

Our data center is located in Kansas City, MO.

If you'd like to do a speed test, we have a separate site located at www.CustomServer.xyz which has a SpeedTest Mini app, along with a 100MB.bin file for wget if you're wanting to check the speeds from another server perhaps.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Thanks for the reply.

Updated code, in the:

It was coded incorrectly, to:

Code:

This would cause problems loading the affiliate page, hopefully anyone who used this code saw the bad coding and fixed it, I do apologize about the mistake and any inconvenience this may of caused, but it has been updated and fixed.

Thanks, @Karartma1 for bringing this to my attention.

You're welcome man, don't worry: to say that to you was the least.
Right now I'm still under a contract with an European provider but I will monitor your service as well.
Please allow visitors to check your server status from your homepage: I think that would be a plus.

Thanks

Well, please do check back when you're ready!  That is a great idea on the server status.  I will add that to my to-do list!  I already have third party monitoring services, so I will see if I can incorporate both internal server stats, along with external 3rd party stats in the very near future.  Again, I do appreciate you taking the time to let me know of the broken link.

If I may ask, how much longer do you have with your current provider?

Hey no problem.  If you're happy with your provider I'm not going to try to force you over. :)

Yes, we do try to keep our prices competitive.  We do have a lot of competition in this market, and a lot of people who buy WHMCS, spend 20 minutes setting it up and buying a VPS/Reseller plan in hopes they'll strike it rich, when it's very far from that.. so, while we don't offer "unlimited everything" we do know what a good offer is to the people who aren't sold by the gimmicks of unlimited everything, because nothing is unlimited.

I'll admit we do have "unlimited" bandwidth, however, based on our resource allocations, the way the packages are setup and such, there would really be no possible way to exceed what bandwidth allocations we have presently with our systems to ever really worry about it.  If someone was to even use 0.001% of our total allocated bandwidth limits, I'd be looking into what they're using their services for, because that would be well into multiple hundreds of GB/mo on shared hosting plans.  Which, is quite a lot.  Not impossible, but very unlikely to ever use that much on a shared service, especially web hosting.

I definitely appreciate your replies and while I don't want to beat you with sales pitches and everything to go with it, if you do decide to make a switch for any reason, do PM me and I'll definitely do what I can to help perhaps take some of your loss if you decide to come over to us.

We are looking to add Bitcoin as a payment gateway very soon.  There are a few gateways out there, however they all cost money.  So there is no real way to test the quality of them, without buying them first.

There was a Blockchain.info gateway, but it had become broken after WHMCS had been updated to version 6.x.x

We just want to make sure we're choosing the right one, the one that is both safe for our clients and ourselves in terms of proper reporting as some gateway modules do have issues with handling the transaction.   But it IS something we're actively working on, trust us, we're very excited about the prospect of having Bitcoin in full integration!

why you do not have a reseller hosting plan? I find it more interesting than affilated percent

In all honesty, I didn't think there would be much of a market for reseller hosting plans.  Perhaps I will add it if there is more interest in it.  Would you purchase a reseller plan, if it existed currently?

---

Great questions and responses!  I always appreciate the feedback to improve the quality of our services and to meet the needs of our clients.

Yes, we do.  It varies on prices, depending on what type of domain you get.  We only a small fee above what the cost of the domain is to cover the fees associated with registration.  It's a very minimal amount above what they charge, it's just enough to cover the fees so we break even and yes, the registration is live, however DNS propagation can take a few minutes to a few hours just depending on regional, national and worldwide DNS update speeds.

All generic TLD's have been added.  That at least "most common" of them.  There are some that were left out, because they require manual entry to every degree, and there are so many on that list that are barely used we simply filled the list with the ones that would more likely to be used.  It is still a very extensive list, and has a lot in there though!

When does an affiliate get paid? Must they pay for 1 year or is 1 month good enough.

Please PM me. I sometime build sites and can give you some hosting clients there. But you have to handle the support yourself.

PM sent.

--

To anyone else who may ask this question, it's monthly.  As long as there isn't a charge back against us, (granted it wasn't our fault.. If it was our fault, you'll still get paid, because that wasn't your fault.)

We make things as simple as possible for everyone.  We try to keep prices low, no hidden fees.  For our affiliates: As long as we make money, you make money.  The only reason we do a month, is so that it's easier for payouts and fees.  There is a minimum of $10 payout, which really wouldn't be too hard to achieve with our percentages we offer.

Everything is listed in your affiliate information listed in your account settings, when you sign in.  How many clicks, your conversion rate and your pending and matured payouts.

I added a faucet to our speedtest page of www.CustomServer.xyz/faucet.php

Soon, I'll add BTC in there, I have a Google Adsense account that has some money accrued in there, so if people visit the faucet site and support it.  I'll take that money from it and convert it back to BTC to add to the faucet.

I'll be playing with it, to try to build a custom installation script.  It's not so much of making the installation script, I need to make one, that will also include creating the MySQL information.  However, there will be somethings out of my control that the users will have to sign up for to make the script work in its full entirety.

I know this may sound odd, not putting up any analytical services yet, however, I had much more important overhauling to do with the web hosting addition to the business I was putting all of my focus in that area only.

I added Google Analytics today.  To much of my surprise; though, I will look at the AWStat's on cPanel every now and again to at least see if I'm getting visitors.  AWStat's has some good measurements to it on a basic level and I will continue to use it for comparison purposes, but it's not quite as detailed as Google's is.

Come to my surprise, just from about 10 hours of it running I've had more new visits versus returning visits by nearly 50%, which is good, their were visitors who did come back, but what surprised me the most is the duration of new visitors was 8 minutes and 13 seconds, which, I thought was great!  That means people are looking through the site, actually browsing through everything.

Personal thank you.  I'm not a GoDaddy or Hostgator, etc..  I'm a small business owner, that's following my passion and dreams.  Making something out of nothing (tangibly), which is quite profound and exhilarating at the same time.

I've also pretty much had nothing but positive comments or compliments as well, so I feel like I'm on a good path from a Customer Service and Services standpoint.  To those who have left me the positive comments and compliments, another thank you to you as well.

Out of the customers I have picked up from BitcoinTalk, thank you for your business!  I look forward to many more from here.  This is such a unique, interesting, intelligent and mostly peaceful community that I'm very glad to be a part of.

Seriously, I'm working on implementing a Bitcoin gateway.  I need to test these few I have for a good couple of weeks putting in fake orders and such, stressing them out by having anywhere from 1 to 50 transactions at once, so I can find out which one has the least amount of flaws in it because they do cost money and I'm working on getting a trial of them for only sandbox mode on testnet.

Again, thank you to everyone who has become a client of ours, I will do everything in my power to make sure you have the best possible web hosting service you could ask for.

Humble regards,
-Adaryian

I do appreciate your effort of taking the time to reply me point by point. I work in sales so I know how things work  ;)
Since I share that service with others I'll try to speak with our IT manager to see whther there could be a chance of moving before the time.
Expect a pm anytime this week.

Thanks

No problem on the point by point. It sets clear expectations and not over or under promising our services.

That sounds great!  I look forward to having you as a client if possible and I look forward to your PM.

After careful consideration we're going to be moving affiliate payouts from 15% to 25% for now.  We're really trying to bring on more affiliates, get our services out there and really incentivise being an affiliate with us.

We are in the progress of making a Terms and Conditions for our affiliate program which will be available to read through your client area under "Affiliates", the link is there right now, but it's an empty link.  There's nothing that is going to be in there that would make us undesirable, but we do need to cover ourselves in some regards, so please be sure to read it and, of course, once it's done I'll update you all on the updated T&C of being an affiliate with us.

Want to become an affiliate?  Click my signature below, sign up on the client portal and make sure to choose to become an affiliate and your affiliate information will automatically be generated.

Thanks,
Adaryian

why you do not have a reseller hosting plan? I find it more interesting than affilated percent

Reseller Plan added to our services we now offer.

wow. that's what I really need. thanks for this big move...
but you are not accept bitcoin as payment. I hardly want to request please add bitcoin in payment options. It will definitely help us so much.. my earning source is only bitcoin. some time it takes too many times to exchange bitcoin to paypal or other source and buy something. I am always searching something who accept bitcoin.

I'm still working on the gateway.   If you'd like to do a personalized Bitcoin trade for a reseller account I'd be very happy to do that for you to accommodate your needs.  The Bitcoin gateway will be coming, but until then if you'd be interested in a personal Bitcoin trade, I'll set your account up and then you can send the funds after and I'll be sure to leave you positive trust and I'd hope you'd do the same! :)

When people offer suggestions, I take them to heart.  I listen to what my clients want and I will adapt to the market demand.

6 more 1GB plans OR
3 more 2GB plans OR
2 more 4GB plans OR
1 more 6GB or more plan

UNTIL SERVER CAN BE LAUNCHED!

We're super close everyone.

Anyone who is interested, https://customserver.space/cart.php?gid=8

Let's get the server up and running ASAP! If we reach this goal, the DC has the memory I need for this server and I'll spend the extra to buy from them so I can get the dedi up and running without having to wait on ordering the memory.

We're really pushing to get our Minecraft Hosting up and running.  We have very competitive prices and most importantly have QUALITY hosting.

We were trying to compete against another company, but after further investigation into what they, "have" which was a contradiction to multiple chat conversations they've had with us and other people as well they can't beat our rates with our hardware.

You pay for what you get.

Just a few more sign ups to show we have at least ~35% interest and we'll cover the rest of the fees for the hardware needed to launch it and keep it running.  I'm sure we'll get great feedback once we get this up and running for those who have pre-ordered.

Thanks again for all the people who have pre-ordered and we'll get these up and going ASAP!

We got enough pre-orders, that we had ordered the memory for it today from our data center.  They do in-fact have it in stock. (slightly higher than I was quoted..) never the less, we will have a Minecraft server up with Multicraft on it either today or tomorrow at the latest. It's provisioning the OS up and there are packages that need to be installed along with security as well.

I think you'll all have very happy results from using us as a host.  All of the equipment is new, very fast and all server grade level.

Will be removing the "Pre-Order" text next to our ordering system since the server will be up very soon.  Just don't expect instant setups for the next few days until every module is setup!

Thanks for all the pre-orders guys and gals.  Next item on the list, is Bitcoin payment gateway!  I know I've brought this up in the past and things kinda got sideways on me, but I wanted to offer more services, especially to the Bitcoin community.

Looking for more people!  We will initially have a public server that, will probably be wiped pretty often depending on grief levels and such, but will have no real permissions and will be plain Vanilla to let you get a basic test.  All will be updated very soon!

Thanks again!
Adaryian

Sorry for the delay: got caught in the loop lately. I'm going to write you a private message right now.
