Post by: SparkedDev on March 08, 2016, 02:13:56 AM
OpenSoureCore has been opened.
https://opensourcecore.com

OSC has launched using phpbb open source forum software so the community can have a hand in building with us an each other.
We are aiming to build a community, that adds to the social interaction for open source developers and teams.

What we offer?
We offer a hub for GitHub projects so you can recruit share and even sale your software.
Such as (Projects in development, released, and paid addons for open source software.)

The forum is still under development so if you notice any issues do let us know.

Have any plugin ideas or mods that could help better the forum let us know, an we will add them.
As long as they are stable an have no vulnerabilities.

Those who know i have opened up a group under opensourcecore on GitHub and we will be working to release free opensource projects to the crypto currency community.

Group recruitment post is here:

Ok, right off the bat I see that there aren't any fields that are marked with a ' * ' when you register (All fields are optional?).
It also takes really long for the page to refresh when I try to register. (After I submit the registration form)

But I was able to make an account, and the site itselfs looks and feels pretty nice.

It might be a good idea to add just a standard wysiwyg to the post editor.

Yeah im looking for one that don't look ugly as hell there is one already installed its just turned off.

Also no nothing is optional other then github i believe i have placed the marks where they belong so that isn't an issue again.

Yeah I noticed since I didn't add a Github account and just tried the registration process again and it looks better now with the *'s added.

Yeah that's certainly understandable, it's better to let it grow organically first before making any sorts of investments. I'll keep visiting from time to time and make a few replies to help you out.
Good luck ;)

Its actually everything as you have mentioned.Basically a place where recruiters meet developers who can pay in bitcoins for completing the programming tasks (I suppose).Maybe they will have a market where their team of open source developers will sell casino scripts/gambling bots/other martingle betting stuff. Moreover as a developer you can simply contribute to one of the projects of choice if there's a requirement.

We will be putting a project bounty section soon.

Opensource isn't just purely free, even tho most people know it as free stuff.
Such as forum addon's and such.
Which allows you to edit the script the way you want it to be.

Is this a forum completely for freelancers and project hunters?

How do you do escrow or provide secured transactions between the parties?

I hope you should be working on that too.

Open source can be a script for sell but don't have encrypted or hidden code.
Which allows you to edit the script the way you want it to be.
Opensource knows more as donations one.

Um ive been talking to a few escrows.
But odds are it will prob be best to just make an addon.
With a cold wallet, or we will figure it out.
As it is, the site is still growing.
