Yes, it's actually pretty common. You get days where 90-100% of the top coins are all green or all red. My gut feeling is that the blockchain debate and impasse with bitcoin is causing renewed interest in altcoins that may be able to outcompete bitcoin in various niches or even on a general level. This might not go anywhere, or it could be the beginning of a momentous shift. I've got small holdings of 11 of the top 14 coins now, just as a hedge in case something big is afoot. |
