Hey everyone, since my last creation, flappybit, I've been thinking about making something new that I haven't done before.
So after some navigating, I decided to recreate a 'satoshimines' kind of game that would work with moneypot's api. So for 2 days, I've come up with a sweepabit as it is currently. So, this thread is about showing you my creation more than promoting it really. I'm really proud of it and think I did a good job actually :D
Sorry about the 'little' messy look of this thread, since I don't have custom assets for the game, I can't really think of any good template currently. I will probably edit it later.

How to Play:

Basically, it's a minesweeper kind of game. You place a bet then, click on the tiles to reveal if you found more bits or a bomb.
Of course, the goal is to reveal to most tiles possible without getting a bomb. Revealing a bomb would make you lose your bet and the stake of the current game.
The bigger is your bet, bigger will be the profit per tiles clicked.
When starting a new game, you are able to cashout at any time. Cashing out will end the current game saving your current stake to your wallet.

Yes!
That was the main goal of this project; Using my knowledge to recreate a game on moneypot's api.

Why moneypot?
Because having my own bankroll and building my own depositor is not something that appeals me really.

How is it unique?
Ehh. Well, like drawing, I'm used to do something that already exist and put my "own little thing" into it. I would then say the appearance is different at some point. The game play stays the same.

I'm assuming the game is still in the development right ?
Looks like a clone of Satoshi Mines .Played a couple of games but doesn't seem to be working fine after opening couple of mines,it just stops loading .Waiting almost 8 minutes to open the mine didn't work.No network lag.

Yep still in development, there is some bugs i wasn't aware of like the 24 bombs that is glitched. Currently working on it.

What is the house edge?

House edge appears as 1.00% on 24 bombs bets ;)
I will change it so the house edge will sum up to 1% with the amount of tiles you can click.
For example, I will make that if you chose 1 bomb, the house edge per click will be 0.0416% (because 0.0416*24 ~= 1%)

Awesome little game! It's smooth and gives more of a strategy feel to playing, rather than just "click and see if you won."

That is great piece of work simple and cool graphics just played there and i would like to say that Sweepabit is a good addition in family of moneypot so good luck and have great future ahead.

Its still a little buggy, I clicked on a tile and it kept on spinning and had to refresh the page and the game wasn't continued but my balance showed some added bits which means it was auto claimed when I refreshed it. Looks good though, GL.  :)

Your app looks similar to diggit.io (back when it wasn't scammy). It'll be fun to play that sort of game again, and with moneypot being a reliable website, I won't have to fear for my money ;)
I also love the fact that you implemented a faucet timer. I can see that care for the user went into this product. Great job on that.

Have you seen diggit.io before, or was your only inspiration satoshimines? I think an added feature would be to custom set how many mines there are in the entire field.

It looks really nice. I like the minimalist design, and the unique type of system. I haven't seen this before. It's kind of like satoshimines but I like this better.

I really liked it, hope it gets reputation like Bustabit :)

Simple and unique app for moneypot and this will attract so many players who like to play minesweeper, just tested this it is easy and fun to play there so good luck op.

This might be because of some lag :) I will still look at an eventual solution to those infinite loading tiles!

There is a faucet as well ;) 2 bits every 5 minutes. You can see the 'FAUCET' green button once you are connected.

Hey, you can simply do bets of 0 bits. That'll work ;)
There is also the Faucet button giving you 2 bits every 5 mins.

Little Update, fixed a problem where the 'next' would be '-NaN' after cashing out.

Working on player stats and maybe will add some kind of high roller ranking.

I am getting some problems. When I click START NEW GAME I get some ERROR: Not Connected .

Do I need to deposit money first or is there a demo/faucet type game?

Ah, you need to click the 'connect' button on the chat area. I agree it can be confusing, I will set up something to make it more easy to understand.

Also, clicking the 'start new game' button too fast after connecting may return the same error due to lag (because your client haven't received the server hash yet to place bets)
I will fix this too.

People can now chose their own amount of bombs (from 1 to 24)

Little fix, now the deposit works well, the message 'not enough balance' doesn't appear anymore after depositing!

An update, every time you start a game, you receive a new hash for the provably fair. This way, it shouldn't tell you the message 'not connect' while you are connected but due to lag, you haven't received the hash yet.

Update, added a high roller history! (only visible when logged in because, moneypot)

great the game looking fun but i don't see probably fair or not in your site. it mean because using money pot it's already fair?

And, you can see that every time you start a game, before betting, you receive your hash. Once you clicked a tile, you'll receive the next hash for the next tile. If you don't click any and cashout, the next game will give you a new hash.
To see the hash, you can open the console and see the hash like:

In this case, after winning the first bet, i received the new hash and then cashed out. (which set the current game as 'ENDED' so a new hash will be generated for the next game)

Either way, I cannot control the outcome of the bet. Moneypot does. I've set the current client-seed to 12.345 but I will soon add a feature allowing the user to chose it's own client-seed as well.

Some minor bugs fixed:

-Negative bets (which were blocked by moneypot so the tiles would keep loading for ever)
-Custom amount of bombs showing 10 after every game.

Yea I made the project open sourced. I don't mind people reusing the idea since I didn't invented it anyway :P
And if it can help people to learn anything from this, well, it means I did something good after all!

Update, added a settings button. People can now change their client seed easily.

Update & fix:
Bet amount and bombs saves for your next visit.
Fixed a bug where custom bombs weren't saving and showing correctly :)

Unfortunately, a while back I took a pretty heavy hit. I still very much enjoy this one game, mainly due to the low house edge (on your first click of course).

Hopefully next time I have better luck.

Little update.
I managed to lower the house edge and make the rewards per tiles bigger.

There is still a bug, the 4th tile you click, some how, gives a smaller reward than it should.

I'm still working on fixing it and optimizing things.

Nice update, with some help from bit_exo, the house edge is now fixed.

1% on first tile you click.
Then, 0.50% on the other tiles you click. (on a same game)

I just played a few games with the free faucet and it's pretty cool.  I know it's just a clone of another game, but you added your own touch to it and it looks good.  I had one problem when playing where I clicked one of the squares and the spinning "loading" circle popped up and stayed for a long time.  I eventually just refreshed my browser and it acted like I decided to quite the game and gave me my winnings.  It didn't effect me negatively (I still got my payout) but I'm not sure why it got stuck.  Maybe it was just my computer/internet, but I thought I would let you know in case it was a bug.

Hrm... I'm not so sure I like this update :P

I was enjoying the 0.05-0.08% house edge and playing with that. Now it'll actually be significantly more difficult for me to fight against the odds! (Though, let's not talk about the horrible luck I had a while back)

Well, the house edge wasn't affecting the odds really. Mostly, low house edge meant the rewards were high on the first bet, then, extremely too low on the other bets.
Yet, everything got fixed. :D

An update :)
Added the !tip command allowing users to send bits to others.
Command: !tip <username> <amount>
Example: !tip Dexon 20

Well, I knew that betting only once was superior to betting multiple times. Now it's the opposite, rather. However, I liked it before because that was the lowest house edge at the time ;)

You fixed my way of gambling at nearly-fair odds :P

By the way, GREAT promo going on right now, which is how I found this app.

Just two things. Would it be possible to show where the bombs are after you click "Cash Out", just like it would show you when you hit one of the bombs? Instead of going back to the "Play Again" dialogue.

And additionally, can you have it so you can either display the Client Seed separately without having to go into the settings, OR can you have it so that it remembers your client seed when you change it, instead of reverting back to 123456? Even better would be if you were able to provide a "Randomize Seed" button that would autopopulate a random client seed in the field.

Warn the players to not run unknown scripts in your console nor giving your access token to anyone.
I as well hidden the access token from the URL on the page to help to prevent users to give it away anyway.

Showing the bombs after cashing out has been asked a little bunch of times already... So I guess i'll start working on it, I can't say when it will be done.
I was afraid that showing the bombs at the end of the game may slow down the game and make it a little boring. I'll see what i can do :D

The ideas about the client seed are great. Gave me some idea as well how to integrate it. Hope it'll fit and people will like it  :)

Overall, I love the simplicity of your site; it's straight to the point, and exactly what a gambling site should be, in my opinion :) Will you ever be introducing any additional games to your site? Or will it always just remain bitsweep?

I like that the faucet has a pop down menu. I like pop down menues since they go away when you done with them. Also the faucet stacks which is good.

The only thing is you need user stats profile and to neaten up a bit. Otherwise great job !  8)

I'm glad to see that this feature is finally here! Now it's quite refreshing to see when you decide to wager and get a tile that's covered in reds.

I'd like to see some chat notification if anybody manages to uncover all the tiles. That would be cool (sort of like Dust Lottery's chat notifications).

About the faucet, the main thing is that it's a shared faucet with all other moneypot casinos. Meaning, if you claimed the faucet on an other casino, you still must wait 5 mins to claim it on an other one as well.

Connected DexonBot (known on bustabit) to sweepabit for it's lotto!

Every 30 mins, the bot will draw a random player that placed at least 1 bet and allows him to claim a 100 bits reward.
Every bet of at least 1 bit gives you 1 ticket. And for every 10 bits, you earn 1 bonus ticket.

For example, if you bet 20 bits, you will receive 3 tickets.

Thats funny or am I missing a simple math here or there is something wrong with your post there?, betting with 20 bits will give you 3 tickets while the bot will give you 1 ticket per 1 bit bet so instead of betting 20 bits instantly for 3 tickets, then isnt it much better to bet on 1 bits for 20 times and get 20 tickets for the bot?

Nothing wrong with it. I don't privilege high rollers on the lotto. Other wise, they would snipe every single lotto w/o really wanting to participate. (since the prize is only 100bits)

Even there, someone spamming 20 bits bets would have way more tickets than someone spamming with 1 bit bets.

New warning sounds good, and the tipping function is nice as well. Does tipping someone transfer the balance on the app, or is it tipped through moneypot? I'm also liking the lotto bot, and managed to win 1 round after getting a few thousand tickets from betting. Ended up losing my 2k bits I started with sadly but I still had a good time. I kinda wish I cashed out earlier though when I made some profit. Good luck with your game, and it is nice to see you are on top of things and actually caring about your players.

With so many scammers around at the moment, it's always good to have a legit gambling site that offers you minesweeper. A few months back the site diggit.io went scam. But now we've got another :D

provably fair on this site is hell different then it is on diggit.io.
on diggit.io you had mines set up before, here there is no mines its just visual look and on this site its all about % and its like you play dice but with look of sweeper and that is because moneypot does not support dinamic games sadly but true...

For now they dont, they might be able to support it in the future however even the system is not the same but still the feelings when you put your hands on it to play is definitely the same. Atleast dexon managed to offer this kind of game with creative thinking on how to make it even when moneypot doesnt really able to support this kind of game

Update, Pull requests by Uni from moneypot suggesting to generate a random client seed instead of "123456" (which can still be changed at any time). Plus, minifying the script.js file making the loading a little bit faster :)
And, adding Sessions. Allowing you to automatically be reconnected when refreshing the page for example.

Yes :) As stated on the main post of this thread, the game has always been open source.

About the provably fair, you can see your console. Every time you start a new game, before the first bet, you receive the first hash from moneypot. Once you received your first hash, if you click one tile, the game will use this hash linked to the bet and moneypot will process it. Once the bet done, you receive a new hash for your next bet.

Yes I know that's what they say bit people say stuff. Anyway I have trust in moneypot I highly doubt they will allow a cheating casino. They would name and shame them. So I feel more comfortable with moneypot websites. Thanks for the reply though :)

Added a Jackpot feature on the site. In test, so sending the prizes manually and starting at low prize. But yea, come try it out :)
The jackpot works like fortunejack's. There's a guide that will explain as well how it works.

Report any bug or unclear things. I'll redo the explanation guide as well to make it more readable.

This never happened to me. I like the site though. Better than satoshi mine. I think satoshimine is not fair. But this is.

That's a really cute site but could I suggest you make the colors a bit less dark. Id like to see it as a bright and colorful site.

The site isn't working currently tho. Need socketpot to get back online so waiting for moneypot staff.

For me personaly I couldn't care for a light theme but some may like it. Bustabit has it and its basically just a negative image of the origonal but it works to great effect.

Fixed a bug where players would have to reconnect if they were betting too fast.

Hello Dexon! I do like Minesweeper that's why I tried your site. I think it would be better if the site is responsive? As I have checked, it's not and it's a bit hard when playing on a small screen. Another thing is, I think also because of that, it is not applicable on mobile browsers.

I Think this is very creative the fact that a game could turn to be a gambling site actually well I still haven't been using the site but I am thinking of trying it first before suggesting any errors from the site, but base on reading on the comments I think this needs further development but I'll give you a thumbs up on getting my curiosity and attention up in your thread hoping this site would give me some excitement over playing it and I think it needs more color well that is only my suggestion!

The game is simple and easy to play but i have found a bug.
I clicked on three tiles and the game got stuck on the third one. It just shows loading. Even the cashout option is not working. Had to reload.

Are you sure you were on sweepabit ? There's many copies of it. Either way, one one thing you can do if this happens again, Right click on the page (anywhere) Click on Inspect elements then click on 'Console' on the popup that opened. You should then see an error there. Let me know what error it is and if you are indeed on sweepabit.com and not a copy.

Plus, the game is directly powered by socketpot from moneypot. If you are having a bad connection speed or socketpot goes offline for a couple of minutes, the bets might get stuck.

Just played on the site, site looks good and simple to play, is there any way to verify a game?

verify the fairness? you can click your bet ID and you will be directed to a page of the bet informations including about the provably fair system used in your bet

As Naoko said, you can click on you bet's id in history to see the moneypot's result.

Before you click any tile, you receive a first hash which contains the outcome of your next bet. (You can see this hash in your browser's dev console. Press F12 if you're on Chrome to open it)

I like that you have a faucet. Satoahimines hasn't got one so you can't even play for fun. Your site is simple but nothing is wrong with that. Simple works. Sometimes fancy things just cause problems. So as long as the site is fair and works well ot should be fine. I'm sure you getting more popular already.

will you be adding any more cool games minesweeper in the making this give you site a great edge and think a lot of people will use it as it brig bac good memories of the past and people loved playing it I did and having a faucet is one of the best ways of getting payers to check out you site well done.
