I think that's because of charging fees but if ETH and especially businesses jumping on this with smart contract etc and no - or lower fees - this could actually go somewhere. Yeah the first time I used a bitcoin ATM was a bit of a let down. I mean I was pumped and I videoed the affair but after I had to let the machine take a picture of my ID and give it my phone number, create an account, fund the account, buy the coins and finally withdraw the coins from the account. I could have left the coins in the account but I needed the phone number (which was a throw away) to get a 2FA pin in order to withdraw... it was only slightly less cumbersome than opening a bank account. :-\ Title: Re: Etehereum ATM (coming to your neighborhood soon?)
