Title: I have a question about using a tablet to trade on instead of lab top?
Post by: JasonHealer2010@Hotmail.C on March 13, 2016, 06:34:53 PM
Can someone tell me what crypto  currencies have an app for smart phones and tablets that someone can trade on if they don't have access to a lab top?  I'm interested in bit shares right now, since they are trading for 8/10 of a penny each right now?

It's not the currency that will have an app to trade BTC to it.  You are talking about a exchange, so you would need a exchange to change BTC to these alt coin's.  I would personally use a computer.   Doing all this on a tablet app... sounds like a pain.  You likely would be better off in tablet web browser doing it.  But all depends on exchange I guess.

My advice is go slow.  Even though they are so low on price.... they can go lower.  You can gain and lose quick via alt coins.

Doesn't matter what device you use.
Assuming you have android, there are plenty of apps supporting Bitcoin trading.

You seem to misunderstand some basics and I suggest you read a bit on bitcoin before doing anything rash.

That is why I suggested going slow.  Some of these really small altcoins seem amazing if you see a tiny jump.  But the other side is if they are a crap coin... eventually they are de-listed on most exchanges.

Once a coin is de-listed it's pretty much useless as most will never get back on after being dumped by exchanges.  There is just a lot of pump/dump anymore.  I have not been into altcoins for a while due to I believe in BTC.... most altcoins I don't believe.

Im use Ztrader pro at my android device, im download from google play, use it free for trade under $10, but you must pay arround $4/month to get pro feature. the market is very completed, huobi, bitfinex, bitstamp etc.

and if your trading platform support mobile interface, i prefered use web based to trade.

I think you are assuming the whole system as wrong , there is no particular crypto that works on app , moreover all the cryptos are traded over trading sites ,out of which most of them have their own app or they are mobile friendly.

I think you can still trading using your browser in your smart fone or tablet. but if you are looking for the apps for a smart fone or tablet. i never heard there's a mobile app or apps in tablet that you can download and use it in trading..
Why don't you try browser and go to trading site like yobit so that you can try with your self actually..

I've never actually traded from my phone so I can't really recommend an app but your post got me a bit curious and I decided to have a look for myself on Google Play.
The zTrader app seems to be one of the more popular trading apps with a score of 4.6 and an install base of 10,000 - 50,000   https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.bandicoot.ztrader
It supports all of the major exchanges (including Bittrex and Bitstamp) and all currency pairs offered on those exchanges.

This really is for a different thread insteand of taking over this thread for buying one.  Really depends on what your looking for and price.

Some tablets are utter craptacular. But if your just surfing web... does not take a lot.  But say heavy graphics, games, etc.  It can change on what you need.

There many great websites out there that are well optimized for tablet without even needing an app. I use a tablet alot and i love it. There might be apps but you don't need one. Hope this helps.

Spend $40-80 on an old laptop? I've never come across a tablet browser that could keep up with an exchange and there don't seem to be many apps. You need precision to trade and tablets don't have it in my experience.
