I would not pay much for it if I'm honest, its looking pretty nice but its not very attractable.
The point if you made it yourself its pretty nice and you should look further and make more colors.

Overall I would pay around the 3,50 dollar.

The item is pretty nice, it for me a real eye catcher and I also like it but I think kiddo's will buy this quicker than the normal adult ones if I'm honest.

The price I would give for it, is around the 4 dollar range.

It was simple and not that attractive but i think it will be cool to have one. Personally I would pay only a dollar for that

Actually I can buy similar to that here on sidewalks for only half a dollar ;D but I appreciate your effort making that one

Good luck!

It is meant to be simple because it is made out of paracord that you could use in a survival situation. That's the point of it :p

We were shown how to make them ar scouts and I'm thinking of mass making them and selling them online.

But here in my country you can buy this for a cheap price i think you can buy that here for 0.002 bitcoins..
Or you can also buy for 50k satoshi for fake one or you should make your own design..

Looks really nice, but you can't compete with China, unfortunately. On Ali express you can buy a similar one for less than $1.

You can buy them new for under $3, so i guess you'd have to beat this price in order to be attractive

To be honest, it's beautiful to me, and I'd definitely pay for less than $2 for that. You could sell it for 0.003 BTC, IMO. Good luck, though.

I would pay not much if I'm honest, I love the click system but you should use more colors in one, it should looks better in my opinion.
I would buy it for around the 3-4 dollar because its looks pretty cool.

I bought product from china (paracord) for 5 USD for 100ft, they come with 6 inner strand. Original paracord come with 7 inner strand.
That's why product from china (paracord) is cheaper than US or EU. I'm not testing the power yet.

You should start some kind of web-shop with this kind of items with all kind of colors, I think you can make big profit with.

Overall you should use marketing a lot and only accept the bitcoin as a payment of course!

well it looks good, just i don't like that plastic, metal would be better, but colors are good,i also like how it looks on hand,

if you make these and want to sell them, then you should make ones with different colors, maybe even form 3 colors or mixed ones,i would pay 3-4 $ for them

Not really a wrist band lover, so to be honest, I wouldn't buy it unless it had something extra on it like a bitcoin logo made up of those threads or something like that.

Title: Re: How much would you pay for this?

It looks nice but honestly you need to make it more unique. Otherwise you won't get more than $1-3 for it. Btw there are better alternatives to paracord available. Just google it and you'll find several tests about it.

You should sell them fro around 5 dollar in my opinion, its still cheap than right ?

As someone already said if you change the plastic to metal with bitcoin on both sides and i suppose you would be able to sell them for 5-8 dollars ,as would be exclusive item conected to bitcoin ,and an easy way to promote bitcoin as people will note those bracelet anywhere make with colors and i believe you can easy have your market option.

Indeed but think about the fact someone made this by hand in most cases, I would pay around the 5 dollar for it because its looking pretty sweet if you ask me, its maybe just a thing that is worth nothing.
Its looking pretty nice and I also like such kind of items to wear so, start selling them!

I've seen the exact same thing being sold for five euros here, although I'd consider that a bit pricey for the economy of my country. Depending on who it's marketed towards, I think that five USD or something close to that would be an ok price given that it takes time to make it.

Looks like you used some improvised materials to craft it... I don't think people would buy it on internet. But it worth 1$-2$ maybe. Better to try to make a new with more improved technique and materials. Maybe using any metals make it more interesting.

That is a bit too pricey, IMO. There is quite a lot of people sell this for around $2, and some even sell this for less than $1. But, sure, if it's something unique and good-looking I would pay more than $5 or even more.

why would anyone buy this?

Hardly, it'll worth INR 15 to 25 which is USD 0.22 to 0.37 OR BTC 0.0005397 to 0.0008994 (current BTC INR rate = INR 27,800 @ preev) per piece in my country.

I believe it's feasible. Few days ago, I found a website where someone sell this bracelet for $0.02 per piece. Yes, $0.02 per piece. Cheaper than $0.05. But, I'm pretty sure the quality of the bracelet is not good if they sold it at such low price.

I think it looks really good!

Here in the U.S., the biggest challenge you will find is cheap versions of that coming from Asia or south/central America.  And even though they might not be as nice, they are so inexpensive cheap.

I would pay a couple of dollars for it.

I think you will have luck if you sell them locally.   Also, if you sold them on this site, if you had more color options, that would help.

For example, if you made wrist bands with college school colors (example: Syracuse = orange) or even professional sports colors, you might find a niche.

Also, if you made them with colors representing other popular subcultures, like maybe a popular video game, or colors of a flag, etc. it would add a personal touch.

You could market to online web communities that are associated with team/country/etc. colors.

Good luck!  Always good to see new entrepreneurial ideas!

yeah it looks very nice on it, and if they are made of good products, i would pay up to 5$ but not more, since it is pretty cheap made, products aren't expensive, but yes it looks very nice

This is the type of item that needs to have a story behind it in order
to sell it.

Maybe have senior citizens make them and give half the profits to them
to help their fixed incomes?

Maybe have kids make it and give 50% to the boys and girls club?

I think if you bring in a charity you could get $5 bucks and pocket 2.50
and help a charity with the other 2.50

I know personally I would wear/buy one only if it were tied to a cause.

I think that I would pay about $2.5 per wrist band thingy. They look ok I guess but I personally wouldn't buy it.

In my country, it only cost less than $1.

But for souvenir items purposes outside the Metro, price increase at the range of 100-200% like any other simple souvenir items.

I've produced and sold paracord goods before and what happens is that to turn it into a business you are competing with very cheap labor.  Unfortunately my time is worth more than what I would be able to make selling paracord tied items so I only do it for fun as I would need to outsource the tying to be profitable.

With the minimum wage going up in the US, these things are best tied by cheap labor because it's a highly competitive market.

I like the flexibility in colors/style/ball bearings that tying them myself offers, but again it is time consuming and one of the knots I tie is a monkey fist (still for sale!) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1063099.10) which takes an exceptional amount of time for tightening.   :)

Another idea would be to build a machine that can tie your easiest knots that take the most time.  I've used jigs to speed things up but I always felt a "smart tying machine" was just around the corner and waiting for someone to build it.  Obviously the machine would most likely be suited for only one task/type of knot, but that's for the engineer to figure out.   ;)

Just wondering, how much would you pay for this?

Thanks,

Is this a paracord bracelet?

It can get pretty useful, or so I heard.

Personally, I think unless you get shipwrecked and stuck in an island or something, it's not very likely you will find use for this other than being an accessory.
