Title: [???] RECENT SPREAD OF ICOS/CROWDFUNDS/CROWDSALES ETC.
Post by: eskiboy on March 14, 2016, 09:31:54 PM
I'm sure by now you've all noticed all these Icos/Crowdfunds/Crowdsales popping out of nowhere, I mean, what is going on? I'm talking about brand new accounts, anonymous 'devs', faked team photos, 180 BTC deposited out of nowhere right after the start.. any of you finding this just a little bit suspicious or at least out of ordinary? Is there some kind of a ICO trend going on now after ponzi trend finished?

Now I'm not trying to advocate here guys, you do whatever the fuck you wanna do with your money, all I'm saying is I find this activity very suspicious and I am beginning to think most of those ICOS are coming from one smart guy or a small group of so called developers riding the wave of other successful projects. Also, I'm not saying all of them are scams (yet) but I'm beginning to wonder if they're actually going to deliver on their promises or disappear after collecting your money? I guess we'll have to wait and see, right?

Do you have any specifics? If not then this probably belongs to Altcoin Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0) and would carry more weight if you posted from your real account.

Well cos those are the fastest way for scammers to earn big amount of cash.

I did notice it when recently an altcoin was able to raise a fund worth 2k+BTC thus scammers find another way for a goldmine.
