I wasn't able to login. Every time I try to login (even with another browser) the site is loading and redirects me to the index. So I contacted a moderator (Mitchell). Who told me my account LuckyYOU got banned. He was not able to help me further, but told me I should make a thread in meta. What I am wondering is the following: 1. Why was i banned, if I don't know what I did wrong, i will likely get banned again. 2. Why can't I login. I refreshed different browsers, delete cookies etc. etc. Hoping that someone can help me, Rienair Title: Re: Banned & Login issues Post by: --Encrypted-- on March 15, 2016, 11:30:33 AM did you get any message when you logged in? maybe something like "account locked" or something? it's possible that your account got banned and locked.

When I press login the browser is thinking and just sents me to the index page (not even the login page), there is no message displayed or even a pop up. 2. A potential ban. I understand there is sig. spamming happening here, but I consider myself nor the post spam posts. While ontopic i always try to contribute and share my knowledge. Perhaps the moderator can elaborate the reason behind this. Since i can't login it's not clear to me. As far as I know, it's supposed to take you to the index page, and there is no popup or anything like that.1. When I press login the browser is thinking and just sents me to the index page (not even the login page), there is no message displayed or even a pop up. You should however get some box with a red text, saying roughly: "Sorry LuckyYOU, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum. You have been banned by a forum moderator. You may appeal here: mail address" (above text is for permanent bans, temporary bans might have other texts.) 2. A potential ban. While ontopic i always try to contribute and share my knowledge. ontopic? sure. but how do you see your posts that was reported on the other thread as contributing? you're just posting "bitcoin is real money because you can buy many things" again and again. that's low quality posting. |
