Title: Bitcoin ranks by ownership
Post by: RealBitcoin on March 15, 2016, 04:46:10 PM
For fiat system we already have denomination of different ranks like: millionaire, billionaire ,etc.. So I decided to make a similar ranking system for bitcoin based on how much you own. So here it is:

RANK LEVEL 21:  1,000,000.00000000 BTC ≥ God of Bitcoin  (Reserved for Satoshi, unless there is another person this rich)

RANK LEVEL 20:    500,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Elite

RANK LEVEL 19:    100,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Oligarch

RANK LEVEL 18:      10,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Legend of Bitcoin

RANK LEVEL 17:       5,000.00000000 BTC  ≥ Champion of Bitcoin

RANK LEVEL 16:       1,000.00000000 BTC  ≥ Master of Bitcoin

RANK LEVEL 15:          500.00000000 BTC ≥ Hero of Bitcoin

RANK LEVEL 14:          100.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Senior User

RANK LEVEL 13:           50.00000000 BTC  ≥ Bitcoin Expert User

RANK LEVEL 12:           20.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Special User

RANK LEVEL 11:           10.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Advanced User

RANK LEVEL 10:             5.00000000 BTC  ≥ Bitcoin Skilled User

RANK LEVEL  9:              1.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Regular User

RANK LEVEL  8:              0.50000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Junior User

RANK LEVEL  7:               0.25000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Novice User

RANK LEVEL  6:              0.05000000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature Spammer

RANK LEVEL  5:              0.00500000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature Novice

RANK LEVEL  4:              0.00050000 BTC ≥ Faucet Addict

RANK LEVEL  3:              0.00010000 BTC ≥ Faucet Expert

RANK LEVEL  2:              0.00001000 BTC ≥ Faucet Novice

RANK LEVEL  1:              0.00000100 BTC ≥ Faucet Starter

RANK LEVEL  0:              0.00000000 BTC = Fiat Worshipper

Let me hear your ideas what other titles and rank names can we add for different levels of ownership!

Its a fine list friend.
One question, why some names are offensive?
Not cool to be called master scammer or stuff like that...
Otherwise, good list with some creative names.

A bit complicated to be on everyday use
we need something simple and i think those names that apply to fiat
are completely sufficient.

It's a joke, but it has some truth in it.

Some guys who have over 20BTC have scammed many people.

This reads like a cheesy kid's game listing. So I'm a master scammer, eh? Ridiculous.

PS: Satoshi owns more like 1 million BTC. If any single entity ever owns something like 5 million BTC, BTC will be pretty much dead at that point.

I feel badly hurt for my rank. Is this really the best we can define ranks of bitcoin member. This is really what you feel like for below rank members. So sad to see this anyway, I know that this is just part of a post. I am thinking if I should be motivated with this so called name for anyone..

Calling people scammers just because they have a decent amount of bitcoins in their wallets isn't cool now , is it ? If it's a joke like you said then I don't get it .
I liked the idea of giving ranks to users but the names ? total crap.

Scammer ranks only >1000, those are the ones who have lots and lots of coins.

RANK LEVEL 7:

5,000,000.00000000 BTC ≥ God of Bitcoin  (Reserved for Satoshi, unless there is another person this rich)

RANK LEVEL 6:

1,000,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Lord of Bitcoin

  100,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Elite

  10,000.00000000 BTC  ≥ Bitcoin Oligarch

RANK LEVEL 5:

5,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Champion of Bitcoin

1,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Hero of Bitcoin

500.00000000 BTC ≥ Master of Bitcoin

RANK LEVEL 4:

     100.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Senior

50.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Expert User

      20.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Specialist

RANK LEVEL 3:

10.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Advanced User

5.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Skilled User

2.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Adept User

RANK LEVEL 2:

1.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Regular Member

       0.50000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Junior

       0.25000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Novice

RANK LEVEL 1:

0.05000000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature Spammer

0.02000000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature User

0.00500000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature Novice

0.00200000 BTC ≥ Faucet Bot Script User

0.00050000 BTC ≥ Faucet Addict Slave

       0.00010000 BTC ≥ Faucet Expert

       0.00001000 BTC ≥ Faucet Novice

       0.00000100 BTC ≥ Faucet Starter

       0.00000000 BTC = Fiat Worshipper

Let me hear your ideas what other titles and rank names can we add for different levels of ownership!

Nice effort:
If possible, you might want to take a few minutes to make the numbers more accurate. For example, Satoshi's early blocks have ~ 1,000,000 BTC (not 5 mill) and many people consider that number to be way too high compared to reality.

This is very interesting. There has never been a set denomination or indicator of the amount of bitcoins an individual has. It would be quite nice to establish a system where you could understand how many bitcoins an individual has. I really like your titles and the separation of amount of bitcoin. My favorite is Master of Bitcoin.  ;D

So you just need tomake an $8,000 investment, and illico presto, you're a BTC specialist! Sorry but your ranking system is flawed. It would be better to make a system based on the number of payments you've made. But since most people have dozens of addresses, it would be impossible to make something trustworthy, and that's good. I don't want to be ranked. Ranking is for armies, whereas BTC is decentralized, there should be no ranking.

Title: Re: Bitcoin ranks by ownership
Post by: Thatstinks on March 15, 2016, 11:48:34 PM
From what I recall from the pyramid the vast majority of all BTC is held by a tiny group. This fact makes bitcoin use a joke, while the idea of BTC is good the vast amounts held by small numbers is a huge flaw.

The only way to get it worth using world wide by billions is a huge unrealistic price increase. That in turn makes those few at the top uber wealthy. If someone can find the pyramid it would be nice showing it.

It's sad but ultimately Satoshi must return and distribute all his coin or he is no better than the world rulers we have now.

So ranking holders is laughable because the vast amounts at the top are all that matter.

Not updated but you get the idea why a small group could mean BTC is nothing but a Ponzi that will end harshly one day.

I guess I am somewhere between Fiat Worshiper and Champion of Bitcoin. I'm pretty sure Fiat Worshiper should be on Rank Level 0 as they do not deserve to be on Rank Level 1 because they do not even have a single satoshi. Though the name is pure shit, but this is a good joke and/or is an intriguing idea.

??? mmm

but it's impossible with such range discriminate users...
in the last rank with 1milion of btc just 21 people could be a ranked users....
-5 milions from satoshi = 16 people (max)
but the vast majority of people take btc in more than one wallet....
it's seems an impossible classification (and actually no one hold more than 1 milion of btc in the same address)

Good list you have there. However I do not think that people will adapt to your list when Bitcoin become popular. Simply because most of them are too long. Look, Millionaire and Billionaire, both of them are short and easy to remember.

Why would you reserve ? It is obvious that someone is going to have more then that in some years cause there are still 4-5 million coins left to be mined and satoshi was around a million i guess.

Add a, 250.00000000 BTC  ≥  bitcoin Hero.

I think this is not a good idea, because Bitcoin users are supposed to be anonym. So we can't just telling people how much Bitcoin we have, because it denying the principle of anonymity.

For fiat system we already have denomination of different ranks like: millionaire, billionaire ,etc.. So I decided to make a similar ranking system for bitcoin based on how much you own. So here it is:

RANK LEVEL 7:

1,000,000.00000000 BTC ≥ God of Bitcoin  (Reserved for Satoshi, unless there is another person this rich)

RANK LEVEL 6:

500,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Legend of Bitcoin

  100,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Elite

  10,000.00000000 BTC  ≥ Bitcoin Oligarch

RANK LEVEL 5:

5,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Champion of Bitcoin

1,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Hero of Bitcoin

500.00000000 BTC ≥ Master of Bitcoin

RANK LEVEL 4:

     100.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Senior

50.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Expert User

      20.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Specialist

RANK LEVEL 3:

10.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Advanced User

5.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Skilled User

2.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Adept User

RANK LEVEL 2:

1.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Regular Member

       0.50000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Junior

       0.25000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Novice

RANK LEVEL 1:

0.05000000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature Spammer

0.02000000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature User

0.00500000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature Novice

0.00200000 BTC ≥ Faucet Bot Script User

0.00050000 BTC ≥ Faucet Addict Slave

       0.00010000 BTC ≥ Faucet Expert

       0.00001000 BTC ≥ Faucet Novice

       0.00000100 BTC ≥ Faucet Starter

       0.00000000 BTC = Fiat Worshipper

Let me hear your ideas what other titles and rank names can we add for different levels of ownership!

I like your ranking system and the names for the owners of respective parts of Bitcoin. I am a Bitcoin Junior btw and I've been Faucet Addict Slave for some time too.  :)

This is the funniest name IMO: 0.00000000 BTC = Fiat Worshipper

But ranks are defined in terms of "less or equal than", not "greater or equal than":

To be a Bitcoin Adept User, you need to have 2 BTC at maximum.

For fiat system we already have denomination of different ranks like: millionaire, billionaire ,etc.. So I decided to make a similar ranking system for bitcoin based on how much you own. So here it is:

RANK LEVEL 7:

1,000,000.00000000 BTC ≥ God of Bitcoin  (Reserved for Satoshi, unless there is another person this rich)

RANK LEVEL 6:

500,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Legend of Bitcoin

  100,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Elite

  10,000.00000000 BTC  ≥ Bitcoin Oligarch

RANK LEVEL 5:

5,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Champion of Bitcoin

1,000.00000000 BTC ≥ Hero of Bitcoin

500.00000000 BTC ≥ Master of Bitcoin

RANK LEVEL 4:

     100.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Senior

50.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Expert User

      20.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Specialist

RANK LEVEL 3:

10.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Advanced User

5.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Skilled User

2.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Adept User

RANK LEVEL 2:

1.00000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Regular Member

       0.50000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Junior

       0.25000000 BTC ≥ Bitcoin Novice

RANK LEVEL 1:

0.05000000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature Spammer

0.02000000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature User

0.00500000 BTC ≥ Bitcointalk Signature Novice

0.00200000 BTC ≥ Faucet Bot Script User

0.00050000 BTC ≥ Faucet Addict Slave

       0.00010000 BTC ≥ Faucet Expert

       0.00001000 BTC ≥ Faucet Novice

       0.00000100 BTC ≥ Faucet Starter

       0.00000000 BTC = Fiat Worshipper

Let me hear your ideas what other titles and rank names can we add for different levels of ownership!

This is a fairly comprehensive list, but there isn't much substance to it in my opinion, Someone shouldn't be ranked on the amount of wealth they own.

It's a funny list, I would be a "bitcoin adept user". Let's see if we can put the effort to escalate a few positions lol.

Thing is, if Bitcoin goes to the moon, perhaps named should be changed. A moderate bitcoin user would become a millionaire.

This is really nice little Ranking System. but to reach Rank 5 and above is really difficult.

The names are really funny. like if you have zero Coins you are  "Fiat Worshipper".

Yes because it's very easy to get 100 satoshi. But if you are lazy to not even get 100 satoshi, then you must be a fiat worshipper and dont care about bitcoin.

Interesting scheme you have ranking those who own Bitcoin. I am usually somewhere in the middle of Level 2 and Level 1 rankings since I'm always spending my Bitcoin. I admit I hsve to learn how to manage my money better.

I think this is not a good idea, because Bitcoin users are supposed to be anonym. So we can't just telling people how much Bitcoin we have, because it denying the principle of anonymity.
Yes it will definitely not work as most of the people use bitcoin so as to stay secure from thieves and they do not tell anyone that how much he have, so the names he gave here will remain here.

Yes one thing is that it denies the principle of anonymity and the other thing is that it will require a large time by the experts to suggest some names for it, the other thing is that if someone has some bitcoin as mentioned in rank 1, then it does not mean that he is earnig it through faucet or signature, maybe he has bought it.

If it's means for jokes or just something you do in free time, it's OK.
Otherwise, i think this ranks is totally crazy and flawed. You offend some people and total bitcoin doesn't mean a people is newbie or master.

I'm sure many spammer have more than 0.05BTC & there's no way someone can keep less than 1000 satoshi in their wallet.
Also, some people who has lots of bitcoin are only early adopter, not master bitcoin.
I am 100% agree with you, these names are totally crazy and flawed and no one in this time will adopt it and will like it in real, but only in this forum for fun is enough, people after leaving this thread will forget about theses names.

You are true man! If someone has some specific bitcoin then it doesnot mean that he is using the same mentioned method of adopting it which is in the thread. There are a lot of other ways of earning and collecting bitcoin rather than faucets and signature.

Thats good, but you know the saying:  "You are only worth as much as your last transaction"

So only what you have now matters, not what you had in the past...

Its not my quote, its a popular saying.

I saw a thread where a guy posted he lost 200 BTC in 2011, if he knew that will be worth some $ a few years later, he would have saved it.

Now he probably has a couple of bitcoins but he could have been rich.

Ok but there are other succesful people too, like the guys who make physical gold bitcoin coins, or the ones who build mining equipment, hardware wallet etc.

Heck you dont even need big capital, just start your own vendor website and sell some stuff for bitcoin, it could earn a lot if you hit success.

Yea signature spammers are most likely the ones who own 0.05-0.5 BTC, because they have like 5-10 accounts and post here all day, usually low quality repetitive posts just to earn some chunks of bitcoin

You probably need big imagination and creativity to get to rank level 3.
