Steven Steiner has failed to honor our many agreements, goes back on his words casually and is currently attempting to extort me for money. I will expose him based on his own words. Below is a summary of that,


2015-3-5
Made a bet with BayAreaCoins on the mayweather vs pacquiao fight to which I lost. Payment was arranged and we were still on friendly terms and regular communications was made, with some complications before all was settled.


2015-12-21
After numerous payments to BayAreaCoins we agreed to settle the dispute, he took his negative off and wrote a neutral feedback stating that he "wrote off the debt". We agreed the issue was settled. Still on friendly terms and regular communications was made.




Notice there was no mention of any debt, scams, or any sense of bad blood between us. You will not find a single instance of him calling me out on anything until a year later and after the fact that we had settle our issue completely.

2016-3-13
Almost a year later I PMed him about buying bitcoins with PayPal and his reply was this,


Still nothing mention about any debts.

I then open a thread to buy .25 in BTC to which lies and false accusations were thrown around.

Another neutral feedback left by BayAreaCoins stating,
"I would definitely not take PayPal from this user"

Oh really?


I PMed him asking why he's calling me out on my thread to buy BTC with PayPal, he replied,


Again, no mention of any debt, scam, or active issue between us.

Asked why he didn't bring this up before, left neg feedback for me or open a scam accusation after all this time (almost a year!!!) his reply was:


Truth is that we settled our issue COMPLETELY long ago. He continues to bash me in public so I left him neutral feedback and called him out on his lies and so the escalation begins,



This racist proceeded to carry out his threats, leaving me bullshit feedback and throwing out baseless accusations. Clearly is abusing the trust system.

Goes on to make the ridiculous claim that I sent him physical dogecoins knowing that some were unfunded. I had in fact told him to check with the creator before selling which he denied but made contradictory statements,

I only know what I have read here but I would say that your an incredibly nice guy to write off that debt in the first place. $1000 is a heap of money, like 2-3 weeks wages for me.

His problem is he won't pay his debts.  He tries to weasel out of it six ways from Sunday.  The latest offer was that if I removed my negative feedback... he'd give me his signature earnings (roughly .2 BTC per month) until the debt was paid.  He's just a cheap fuck who doesn't want to pay his gambling debts out of pocket.

This is about as fair as it gets, another bet double or nothing safe with escrow.

It looks to me like you have 2 options
1) Pay you debt.
2) Take the offer of a double or nothing bet.

I don't know the full facts and you two seem to have been friends at one stage.
All I know is what I see here and it looks like you owe BayAreaCoins $790 in btc, going by just what has been provided.

I never like to takes side in an argument that doesn't involve me but this does seem to favour BAC.

What is your main reason for not paying this debt that you acknowledge is outstanding?

Your point is.....that I buy high value collectible items on the forum with total of more than 100k sales and have been doing so successfully for many years without escrow and purely based on my judgement of someone's trustworthy-ness? Then yes, I am guilty.

I did go back and re read, twice and I still see that the only way this was resolved was BAC was nice enough to write off your debt.

The money is over if he wrote it off but you still must acknowledgement that you skipped out on a bet after you lost.

I've been dealing with accounts receivable for years in the auto repair industry.

You aren't the first fuck I've had to deal with.

I don't think it matters as to when he found this, or otherwise became aware of this difference. The importance is that the distinction was commonly accepted prior to his actions.

I think it is fairly clear that BAC was wrong (made a mistake) in not securing the entire amount you were attempting to bet prior to accepting your bet (as is the accepted practice with the vast majority of gambling establishments). This however does not mean that you are not liable to pay your bet in the event that you had the loosing bet.

BAC agreed to donate the proceeds of your loosing bet to a charity, that would untimely benefit you. There is absolutely no way that you are going to come out of this situation looking like anything but a scammer from this situation. Be a man and pay up what you agreed to pay. I am fairly certain that you would not have been happy if the bet went your way and BAC did not end up paying you (what would have been) your winnings.

So you sent him a pm about a business he wanted to sell that you might be interested in buying (selling snails by mail  :D )

Then you used that as evidence of him being scummy for not calling you scummy for 4 or 5 sentences.

Pay the outstanding amount to BAC and then he can pass that to the children's hospital if he is quoted as saying he would.

Don't know about you guys but i don't take too much notice of any feedback left on a persons account that does not have a reference link.
If your going to leave any type of trust on a members profile then at least leave a reference to a thread or post.
Maybe it should be mandatory to put a reference when leaving negative feedback.
