Dynamic fees might get you a faster chance of getting your first confirmation, but they can also ask you to pay a lower fee as the priority of the coins is high. These lower fee transactions may not confirm that fast as pools mostly pick the transactions with the highest fees first. They don't always look at priority. Pools are very picky nowadays.
