Yobit was fishy right from the start. It wouldn't surprise me if they go bust sooner or later.

volume for the last 2 months has grown x5-10(ETH SIB CREVA). you tell nonsense because to be closed on popularity growth - it isn't reasonable. You Fud'er from another shitcoin exchange.

I have a UNITY withdrawal go missing for several weeks now and no response at all from admin.

Also heard of problems with QORA, XMR and a few others.

We had LemonCoin ICO request but it was delayed because of source code compilation issues.

After such accusations this ICO request is declined, it's our right. ICO fee (yobicode) can be activated.

I am using YoBit from start.YoBit is now bigger then ccex and i have only good experiance with YoBit.

I don't think that Yobit is scam, but i indeed heard a lot of slow support issues, and if Yobit wants to become a big exchange then they need to fix those issues. With a volume of 200 BTC a day or 0.40 BTC in fee, they can at leat hire someone to do that. They are earning 12 BTC per month... I will do the support for 1 BTC per month ;)

Count all the BTCs traded daily on the market, compare it with the TOP amount of BTCs being traded. The TOP amount is bigger then the BTC traded a day, so they are creating a fake account so that they don't have to payout that 0.10 BTC. Prove 1.

There will be a lot of altcoins to be affected if they do a cryptsy-style. I hope they won't as they're earning by operating it daily so better continue with the passive income.

No one should be worried until there is solid proof that yobit withdraws are not coming through or when they slow down. one strange thing indeed is why they do not react to their support tickets, anyway u can also ask a mod/admin in the chat for help.

So far I did not have any problems with them. All the withdrawal I have done are received in mine wallet.

It is all a dangerous world... i lost several BTCs with Cryptsy, now i'm moving BTCs in and out faster then changing my underwear, and hoping if there would be another cryptsy that i'm just out at the moment.

Our Support Team and Technical Staff are overloaded, Yobit and amount of Users growing very fast now.

We agree that the response time to tickets prohibitively long and already hiring additional staff. We hope that soon this problem will be solved.


Calculation of the volume in the top and in the market are using different algorithms, in order to prevent cheating during self-trade. That is why the volume amounts may vary, but we do not see a problem here.

I like this,admit there is a issue and steps towards remedying the issue. Lot of places would act like there is nothing going on and the elephant grows bigger. Think one issue is that people in the signature are told by other members to spam support when the payment button does not work.
Bet that alone sucks up man power,not even extending into the exchange side of things.

the one things that pisses me off more than slow support is probably the reason i had to contact the support.
i haven't been on yobit much; just started trading there recently.

Tpfu, tpfu, at the moment and in the past I had no problems with yobit. Transferred the funds several times and all of them were successfuly moved to my main wallet. I just hope that it will remain this way.

this exchange has no support they just want you to keep bring in your coins and who cares if the wallets get locked they don't care they don't answer support tickets.

everyone i know has pulled the coins they can out and keep spamming support about other wallets.

Spamming with tickets make the waiting for all people longer before they are done answering all.

I will bet 2 BTC that Yobit will scam people soon. They are just waiting to get more and more BTCs and then suddenly some wallet would have stole 15000 BTC.... we all know this story several times.

As I already said - Calculation of the volume in the top and in the market are using different algorithms:

Market: sum(total_coin_volume[(from_current_time-24 hrs),(current_time)])
Top: sum(total_coin_volume[(00:00),(rand(~22:30-23:55))] - part of self-trade volume (anti-cheat protection))

So, the volume will of course vary.

We declined few coins of spacecreditcoin, thats why he is so mad.

p.s. unlike other systems, we have large insurance fund, so it's just ridiculous to see such accusations.

This. Until there is an insurance scheme to protect exchanges from hacks, they are all vulnerable, and you should not keep coins there. Use the exchange for trading, not as a wallet. Do the trade, and then withdraw.

I am trader and a campaigner for Yobit but for the past 4 months have not encountered any problem with them everything has been going smooth for me and all the people I refer to Yobit,your is an isolated one I think ..

DNET coin devs has contacted them several times for a wallet update and are yet to hear back from them.
They need to be bit more proactive to the community requests

Don't they have a different email for the devs to communicate. If they don't have it maybe good idea to create better communication system.

Dont know if there is a separate channel for devs. But all the requests are going to deaf ears atm.

From the start it was clear their are in 99% of their ICO"s and help with the pump ^ dumps.

Their signature campaign is full of spammers, plus they lock the withdrawals for it (or used to) at random intervals. Hate that spammy site, avoid it all costs. Cryptsy 2.0 indeed! :P

this site has 0 support half the wallets don't work and they don't give a shit to fix it.

I have been waiting for reply for months now and nothing have created new tickets to see if that helped it didn't avoid this exchange in less doing quick buy withdraw don't hold coins there...

So far there is no problem with them. I have been with thier signature campaign and trading with them since the start too.
They've been in the business for years as far as i know a n sure thing they are doing great. I can atest that they won't go gox

Seems they got alot off accounts on bitcointalk.

In this thread they have somehow revived TAGR and spams troll chat box for ppl to buy refering to the last post in the thread.
But if you go back some and read the coin was doomed to begin with.

It still remains to be seen what is going to happen with Yobit. Who really knows? I havent had any major problems there as of yet

Edit: I do want to note that there ARE some annoying/concerning little things about yobit that I do not like. The first thing is: If you type c-cex into their chatbox, they change what you type and it spits out some phrase like "i am gay, i like dicks" which is plain offensive and immature. Take that off, thats very lame. The ICO situation is pretty insane as well but I think thats more on the shoulders of the scam devs who never do anything with their ico's.

it is not just the little things. there are a lot of bad things going on in their exchanger. they are only alive because they have load s of participants in their signature campaign.

I have made a deposit to my NLG wallet at YoBit two days ago, but the wallet is in maintenance for two days now. So I have made a support ticket asking why the wallet is in maintenance, but still no reaction from YoBit.

I recommend to stay away (or get away) from YoBit.

Except the fact that I have been kicked of their signature campaign, not even by them but by hilariousandco, I never had any problem with them at all.

If YoBit is such a trustworthy exchange:
Why is my and others NLG wallets in maintenance?
Why is this happening when there is a pump? Is it so they can sell their own coins at ridiculous high price?
Why are they not responding to my questions?


Take my advice: Stay away from YoBit.

the warning should be in the back of our head whenever we are using any online exchanger, after cryptsy did what they did and ran away with our money (allegedly hacked pfft) i am very careful about what exchanger i use. and especially services like YOBIT that they don't have a decent support team become much scarier.

I have same opinion. That's why I`m confused with all this topics about yobit ( and there is a few in last couple days) going to be next MGox or criptsy. I`m reading all comments about it, but all I see is some speculation about it. I didn't see any proofs about it. Its just some random people experience. Well in gambling its the same thing, when someone lose that person cry later.

I just can repeat myself again, all I can do is to follow situation and try to be a bit more carful when its about yobit. I hope everything will be ok, they have nice campaign here, and their site is easy for amateurs like I am.

So, maybe you are right. Their support system is indeed a lottery. You can create a support ticket, but the chance of being lucky to get actual help is 1 in a million.

NLG wallet is in maintenance for over a week now.

So I will repeat this again: DO NOT TRUST YOBIT.

I got lucky twice with password reset before so I guess it's not 1 in a million. Yobit may turn scam later on if blinded by the money in their wallets but we just don't know when and other exchanges also have the same possibility.

Or you are really lucky and should buy some lottery tickets. :)

I don't make up a story. My wallet is in maintenace for over a week now. I have also created a support ticket more than a week ago. Still no response. And if I have to believe other users, I can wait till hell freezes over for a response.

There is one exchange as a fellow crypto-currency follower/reader/trader for about 7+ years that I don't trust. Yes, I don't trust Yobit and wouldn't even try to trade on that site if that tells you something. I don't even trust putting $1 U.S.D on the exchange wallet. The layout of the site, the execution and overall in general seems very poor.

most of the time, i use same nick but different pass, but its tricky site, cause when i was making a account , i used an random pass and it didnt accepted , so i thought i have to use more characters , i did used some pass so i think i used the real pass also ( i know not very clever , but it went automaticly  :'( ). so couldnt make an account , so i left and was the site forgotten , after later that day i logged in at yobit , i was logged in when the hacker also was logged in, and he immedatly reply-ed something what forbidden was at yobit and i where banned for a week. i didnt now then i was hacked, i was suprised , i saw my btc decreasing after seeing that i panicly clicked on freeze whitdrawals and been now freezed :( , but now i cant unfreeze it either , only the admin can and he didnt reply till now to me:(.

this was/is an lesson for me, be always alert and use more securitys at importent things :) . this lesson has cost me est. 0,13 btc :(

Yobit still active but support still the same as before.. and this is the worst support ever but they are still legit for me.. i can still trade there and withdraw.. i don't know in the future if yobit will be the same as cryptsy.. and i hope it will not happen in the future..

Although Yobit is no Poloniex or Bittrex, it is far from a scam exchange.  You just need to avoid the pump and dumps on the site.   There are many little known coins that get pumped 100-1000%.  It's just a game of hot potato, so be careful.  Other than that, the site has decent daily trading volume.  By the way, always activate the 2FA!

Looking at charts on https://exchangewar.info/ (https://exchangewar.info/), YObit ecently is always higer than Bittrex for daily volume trading with more than 2000BTc traded on the site....considering that fee are 0,2%, thats mean 4BTC daily only from commission (without considering fee for ICO and listing coins, dice game, YoPony games and so on)

average volume transaction in weekly or monthly bittrex still above yobit
maybe in one day yobit can above bittrex in volume transaction but only one day

Me too i've supposed that was like you are reporting, but in last week Yobit had always more volume than Trex....probably tendency is changing....
I invite you to check daily the chart of volume btw both exchanges and you will be surprised to see Yobit always with more volume than Bittrex

The volume on Yobit maybe higher these days than Bittrex but they will always be in a lower class compared to Bittrex.  Bittrex is based in the USA and a registered corporation with non-anonymous owners.  This makes them more trusted than Yobit, however, it is still a good exchange.  Just my honest opinion. 

You all blumped this thread fo' what?  Yobit still ain't gone full Cryptsy yet, an' I don't believe they gonna.  But you neva know.  I don't trust any o' these fool ass exchanges but I likes Yobit.  They easy ta use an' they been around the block fo' a while.  So I trust 'em jist a little more than the others.

Even though Yobit technically has a higher volume than Bittrex.  I don't think they are from true trades.  The volume is from people buying and selling their OWN coins to pump it.  If you look at Yobit high volume coins, most are dead and abandoned.  The high volume is to fool newbies into buying and they just end up being bagholders of crap.  Don't be a victim!

have you ever used or visited yobit? i doubt that.
next time go check the website out and then lets talk about if the volumes are fake or not. it is so easy to detect that you don't need any experience in detecting fraud.
if you look at the trading history of different altcoins you can clearly see that the history is filled with so many different fake orders of lower the legit volume and if you look at the top you can see the total volume going up 1 bitcoin at a time!!!

Yobit is notorious in the altcoin trading community, most people know the truth, and only noobs trade on there, there are also some insider trade there, and the site pumps some coins to attract new players.

I believe that yobit is not scamming but they only have the issue that they allow every coin to their exchange to add in it and do not review about the coin that how much is it accepted. They also have some support issue nothing more.

I don't think this allegation is peculiar to Yobit alone, all of these centralized exchanges do this, a good example is the significant drop in BTC trade volume on Chinese exchanges, also see the Pascal coin on Poloniex, 35000BTC trade volume in 24hours, this is crazy for unknown project. Just don't keep your BTC on one exchange
