Title: Have you ever bought something from the deepweb with bitcoins?
Post by: FruitsBasket on March 22, 2016, 08:57:17 PM
I am curious if any of you ever bought something from the deepweb?
If you did, I want to know what u bought and how the transaction where going and what site u used.

I see many sites, but I don't know if they are scams or not. One site that I know is hamsa market. Is that actually a real one or is all the content fake?
* I have no intentions to buy stuff from it, but I just want to increase my knowledge.

I know people who did. And I think there is not a single one of them that did not get scammed already by one of these marketplaces scamming them by vanishing with the funds. I mean it's the ideal robbery... the owners can't be known because of the illegal things, they still get trusted and then they vanish without trace...

No. If I was a druggist I'd definitely give it a go. Once the third party problem is dealt with once and for all there'll be no stopping it. I assume the poor old post people will be hassled to sniff stuff out.

At the hamsa marketplace is a so called escrow system. Idk if it is real.
BTW, do u know how I do get a PGP key?

I am not sure about that, but I have seen some videos that people just go on there and order stuff and it arrives.

Well didn't know that visiting is illegal, that's right, maybe the stuff there costs less but it could bring more risks in your future life.

If I buy anything from the darkweb I would be the one idiot that did not realize it was fake site for th FBI and everyone would laugh about my goat fetish.
Would be a lengthy trial and I would have to say I just like to watch not actually screw a goat and they would talk about my upbringing and how he liked to draw dicks on walls and stuff. Eventually throwing me in jail for 100 years with a guy that thinks my ass is his dispenser.
Pretty much how I see most criminal ventures going for me.

Really have little reason to get on the darkweb unless I wanted to set up a new identity, other than that I am fine with life. 8)

How u know if someone is trusted? And what onion link is the real one?

For example if i search for blockchain.info, will I get to the real one or to a fake one and get scammed?

That escrow system... even when there are real escrows behind... if the site decides to scam then they can shut escrows out and let it look like traders deal with escrows. Taking the bitcoin in escrow.

I think you should get a PGP key from https://keybase.io/.

No I never di it because, I think its risky there is a lot of illegal stuff in these marketplaces and a lot of scammers also.
I do not think its worth it, and I even would not recommend it because the most things that are on these websites such as accounts are also on the normal web for sale.

I don't think that buy guns in the deepweb is a good idea unless you ensure that the gun has the proper documentation to avoid problems with the justice.

The deep web is not a safe place to venture. I personally would never purchase anything from the deep web, and I don't think I'd need anything from there. I'm almost certain that it's not even safe to even attempt doing business in any way shape or form in terms for any illegal services or products. I can forget that. I could never risk anything.

I never bought something from the deepweb because like most people are saying its too risky in my opinion.
There are a lot of things that can go wrong and most likely it are drugs and weapons.... I do not need something like that.

Surprised that there is a few people who actually replied yes to your question. Well, I mean no one would admit that they bought something from the deepweb here unless they are behing Tor or a VPN.

Anyway, I personally have not buy anything from the deepweb yet. If I need to, it might be a Bitcoin mixing service where I pay for the fees. :).

No, because most goods/digital goods are either overpriced or scam.
They often sell something that you can get for lower price or free.
Also, there are many scammer from seller or the deepweb itself >:(

Don't believe what you've seen in deep web, most of them are lie.
Yes, I just figured out that there are many scam sites.
Some sites are copied and fake and all data is the same..

I find the darkweb really interesting, it seems there are a couple reliable markets (not going to disclose them here).

To be honest, i don't need anything illegal. I don't own guns, and i don't use drugs, so there is no need to buy something from the darknet. That being said: i'm pretty sure everything not sold on the big markets is 100% scam...

Why? You would need to know how the police handles actual cases. They handle crimes that happened already, with proof. They surely have no time to crawl this forum for users that might have bought something on a possibly illegal website. They would need way more than that. Someone buying grass from a website surely will not trigger ip investigations and so on. No proof can be achieved besides observing future deals. And I'm sure no judge will say yes to such thing. Not to speak of the workpower to observe that person.

No, they surely won't. Except they want to make an example on how bad bitcoin is. :D

Nope, I'm relatively open to the idea but the fact is that I don't find these items interesting and it's just too far of a hassle to buy anything with it, If I find a "legal" and interesting item for sale only there or for a better price I might use it.

Silk road is busted, nobody wants to be associated with it. Eventually someone is going to bust open the Dark Web and a lot of people will be left with red faces. If you are

asking to find people with experience and then targetting them with personal PM's, I would advice against that, because this forum can be subpoenaed to provide ALL info

and communication done on this forum and the person answering might be a agent. Stay away from illegal things my friends, you are paying with fire.

Why not, I mean, it would make us less prone to scams if we know where the reliable markets are. I'm guessing you don't like that site to get busted do you? Well as far as I remember silk road was caught because the owner did a stupid thing, so I don't think letting us know would matter.

I've always wondered if those hitmen services in there are true. I mean, they're the perfect scam - you only need one victim to make lots of money and start a new site again.

Looks like you don't know about deepweb very well.
Reputation isn't everything on deepweb, many big seller/market run away with users money when they've been trusted by many people and become top darknet.

yeah yeah what ever, been using the darkweb for years, just cause a few numpties get caught out........ i havnt been caught out yet and i use trusted contacts to buy totally legal items.....  ;D  Etfbitcoin sounds like the FBI

Actually 100% is pure evil there, as so far I have not yet seen anything good from it, or maybe I have, Edward Snowden used Tor Browser to contact his adjutant and make it alive so far.

how come so many replies
but yet nobody has pointed out that the OP means the DARK web not the DEEP web
(and most replies are also referring to dark web not the deep web)

The DEEP web is most of the internet, basically the deep web is just webpages/sites that are not indexed in search engines, have no links to them, or are hidden behind user login.

The DARK web is made up of onion sites that hide their server locations, and are only accessible via tor or i2p etc.

It is cool right, only 5% of the whole internet is accessible with a normal browser.
The other 95% is all dark/ illegal sites.
you are both incorrect, the deepweb is just non indexed web pages that have no links to them, or are hidden behind login. (which includes pages on amazon etc, your account page is in the deep web)

If you meant the dark web has no big sites, you are mistaken, there are many thriving marketplaces like amazon.
(ok maybe not as big as amazon but not many clearnet sites are either)

when you say the other 95% is all dark/illegal sites, again you are confusing deep with dark,
yes 95% can be DEEP webpages but they are NOT dark illegal sites

I am curious if any of you ever bought something from the deepweb?
If you did, I want to know what u bought and how the transaction where going and what site u used.

I see many sites, but I don't know if they are scams or not. One site that I know is hamsa market. Is that actually a real one or is all the content fake?
* I have no intentions to buy stuff from it, but I just want to increase my knowledge.

I often visit different kinds of deepweb, but until now I am still afraid to buy goods there. Because we know that the deep web has a reputation like that.  For my visit deep web only to increase knowledge. thank you.

Frankly, drugs and firearms are not that illegal. If you were talking about baby corpses, okay, that would be fucking strange, but now that's quite moderated. Since I don't need any of the two products that I consider as legal, I never used the dark web (prefer this term as deep web, since it is more precise).

Never, because it will detect where you from and what is your house and you will become arrested by the police, others enterning the deepweb is using an vpn application to be protected and don't buy in deepweb because it will push to danger.

Yea, when I was in a country where some silly over-the-counter meds were not available, I just got from the deep web. It was quite troublesome to set everything up and prices weren't even that good either. Pretty convenient and fast delivery, though.

You connect to the deepweb with TOR so you are already VPN'd, silly. Also it seems it's standard nowaday to enforce PGP when putting your address so only if they raid the seller you bought from, your address *might* be uncovered, but only if the seller unencrypted it for the police to see and actualy kept it on his computer in the first place.

I haven't because the sending charge is always expensive.

If you want to know a site is scam or not, you need to ask people who ever bought things from the deepweb. but I'm sorry, I'm not the person.

i haven't tried to explore it yet  ;D ;D it is risky to buy some stuff from the deepweb because we all know that all the things and materials from the deepweb/darkweb marketplace are illegal and every actions and activity you are doing are monitored by the FBI , i don't know how other people can completely and absolutely hide their IP Address with VPN .  ;D ;D but it is very interesting to explore the black market on the deepweb . i want to know if theres a market that are selling cheap gadgets , sneakers or Nike Shoes  ;D ;D lmao .

That is all fake shit. You can buy it all from the surface net too ,if you go to your nearest China sales marketplaces ,I'm sure you can buy it all there ,nothing illegal about it.Fake Iphones are being sold in gray streets too ,hardly any action is taken for the manufacturers. Also FBI simply doesn't trace anybody for using deep web, unless you're Ross and running Silk road IE billion dollar drug company.Btw Silk road 3.0 is up again!

Deep web is the HIDDEN internet services or hidden services accessible only through TOR browser, so first you have to download TOR browser, and then use its search engine, ahmia.fi to check what it can be found there.
However one advice is if you really care for your identity , you should take some precautions as TOR is not the only thing you need to keep yourself anonymous in the net. A lot of tips of how to customize TOR can be found via a normal search on google.

Well, obviously the deep web is full of illegal stuff, otherwise it would not be that popular and nobody would use it. The government lately has been getting on these sites though, Silk Road for example has been closed down multiple times.

I haven't personally purchased anything, but I know people who has.

I see you are afraid of FBI, here are the steps to follow and to not give a damn about FBI or any other agency who wants to spy the TOR network, there have been a very few successful attacks from FBI like when they raided Silk Road and another website which I don't remember (both big mistakes of the users who put their servers in the USA)

1. Using TOR and Windows, especially Windows 10 which is more a spying tool than an OS is a really really bad combination.
2. Keep your OS up to date ALWAYS(very important as one attack of FBI hitted an exploit of an version not up to date of Firefox) and always put privacy and security settings to the highest.
3. Don't torrent over TOR or open .doc or .pdf files , very dangerous opening this online.
4. Don't use add ons like Flash or alike, they have a funny habit or revealing your true IP
5. Javascript should be always disabled. Keeping privacy and security settings to the highest disables it by default on all sites.
6. When using TOR do not open other browsers simultaneously as you risk to get your IP revealed.
7. Never put any identifying info of your self which u use in the clear web. TOR should be your double identity no one should know about.

Now FBI will have some big big trouble identifying you ,whatever you are doing in the deep web.

I've been to the deepweb, and seen some of the more simple marketplaces (namely just gun markets in the EU, which I don't live in anyways), but I don't think I'll ever be buying anything from those sites (partially because of my location). I just don't have the need for drugs, guns, or any other thing you'd find on the deepweb right now. I'm content with everything that I have right now, and I don't think I'll need any of that stuff.

It's probably not a good idea to ever buy something on the deep web. The government is always on your tail, wherever you are browsing on the internet. Deep web may give you a false sense of security instead.

If you need drugs, then it means that you're ruined. That's not good, is it?

The deepweb should be avoided for buying stuff. Since there are too many frauds and illegal things that can be bought. However some things could be useful for some people. Even though stay away from it, don't get into trouble.

Nothing is 100% anonymous as far as I know. But a bitcoin transaction is not directly related to any name or person. That is what I like about it, but unfortunate scammers can get free money this way by being anonymous. So the anonymity has pros and cons.
