Does anyone know of an easy way to make vanity bitcoin addresses that can be used (real addresses with private keys)?

There's a tool called vanitygen (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0), if you want to generate the address on your own.
If you want to utilize a service and let someone else generate it for you (split-generation), I can recommend shorena for that task (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1257817.0).

This site has been confirmed to be scam.
NEVER trust others with the creation of vanity addresses, unless you use a safe split-generation, where the other party doesn't have access to the private key of the address in the end.
In the case of the mentioned site, they got full access to every private key, hence they got access to all bitcoins deposited in any of their addresses and can move/steal them as they like.

Get a decent GPU and run it yourself.  I personally don't trust ones I don't generate on vanity.  Vanity sounds great... I have used them but at end of day you can not remember even a vanity address in memory.   

And it all really depends on length and parameters of your name.  Some you can generate quick others will take a LONG time or never happen depending on length.  Make sure to do it on a computer that is secure and safe, or your doing all this for nothing.

As lutpin says there is a software called vanitygen which you can generate at your own, if your pc configuration isn't good neither gaming pc then i would suggest to use short prefix with 2-5 characters because it can take so long if your pc has not good configuration.

it really helped me while creating my address because Vanitygen has no graphical user interface

If someone generates a vanity address for you, they have your private key for it.  Therefore also have control of your coins that go to this address.   :o

That is not necessarily true.

It depends on how the address was generated.  It is possible to generate a vanity address for someone without knowing what their private key is.

Correct the method is called "split key vanity". Alice generates a private key and sends the corresponding public(!) key to Bob, who randomly generates private keys, combines the two public keys (most commonly adds them) and tests if the corresponding address matches the prefix. When the prefix is a match Bob sends the private key to Alice, who combines their own private key (only known to them) and the private key from Bob which creates an entirely new private key that has an addresses with the wanted prefix. Bob has no way to calculate the same private key without knowing the other part. For an attack Bob has 1 private key less to test.

I am used to create vanity addresses on my own but 5+ custom digests cost to much time and electricity on a normal machine. Therefore I would consider to let addresses create from someone else if it is really possible to create it this way.
