defcon23 invited me to keybase.io yesterday, and i got granted a couple of invites by the admin myself. A couple of them have already been promised to coworkers and to family, but i have 2-3 invitations leftover (depending on the fact if my brother wants one). I'm giving them away FOR FREE (i'm paying it forward, i got my invite for free, so i don't want to charge anything for giving away my invites) ;)

Rules to get an invite:

• you have to be a full member or above (in order to avoid somebody buying or growing an account just to get an invite).
• neutral or positive trust only
• you must make a good case, tell us how you would use the invite. This is important since i want to give the invite to the members that will put them to best use

I'll pick the 2-3 people that made the best case, probably on friday (or monday in case i'm busy friday). I'll pick the people that get invited by myself, there is no appeal procedure. If you're not happy with the outcome: i'm sorry, but there's nothing you can do about it. I'm going to base the decision process on the case somebody makes, their rank and my gut feeling about the person asking for an invite.

People that get picked will have to disclose their email to me in PM (since the invites get sent to this email address).

To this date, I was signing every single message via my bitcoin address, which I could only do on my PC. So I only had access to the signing tool only if I was at home.

I have been providing various services (mainly Dropbox) on multiple forums. The customers mainly contact me on Skype, but there are many importers of me there (wtf???) and some people already got scammed. So they started asking for signed messages from me, which I had to sign when I came back home.

The "collectibles" section has become the most interesting section over time for me now and I plan on buying every single coin there. I would like to be able to sign messages quickly when I start buying things worth multiple bitcoins.

By giving me access to keybase.io, it would allow me to prove my identity with ease, even if I don't have access to my PC ;)

I really want to give a try to keybase.io. as I heard so much about keybase.io and seeing their daily growing users. I decided to get an account but without invitation I can't get access.. so I hope you'll remember me in next friday when you got more invitations..

Can I get a free Keybase.io invitation?

I want to establish my online identity with it. It will also be useful for me to encrypt some sensitive messages (like personal contact details, address etc.) which might be needed during a trade. (for example buying some physical goods and stuffs like that)

You're the second runner up: That means that if someone doesn't take the invitation (1 of the chosen 3 ;D), then the first runner up gets it (indianacoin). If he however doesn't take the invitation again or 2 invitations haven't been taken by the winners, you'll get one invitation.

How does everyone get these invitations,  if you get a couple with new accounts then I would be happy to give away any that I receive on sign up.

Well... I guess it depends on your activity... I verified almost all my accounts, and immediately got 8 invites. My brother just added his BTC addres, and didn't get a single invite so far.
It's just a guess, but i think it has something to do with the activity.

I also got 8 invites just by verifying my twitter and github account. Just hours after I have registered "Chris Coyne" - one of the developers granted me these. I appreciate it :D
