Title: What is your favorite proof of mining? Post by: Abiky on March 24, 2016, 02:51:29 AM Which of the proof of mining concepts, do you like the most? Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, or other? In my opinion, I think that Proof of Work would be the best to make the coin stronger and have a fair mining distribution (unlike PoS in which the ones with the most coins, get better chances of receiving stakes) :) Title: Re: What is your favorite proof of mining? Anyway, staking is not mining. Mining and staking are both minting methods though. I think pure PoS is based on a fallacy and is a pointless gamble and while PoW has plenty of issues it's much better than PoS. Title: Re: What is your favorite proof of mining? No but instead I am just asking to discuss about the different types of proof of mining (which I obviously know that PoS is not mining) but I have decided to include it into this discussion as well. By the way I have forgotten to add the poll to make your votes, but anyone can share about their one of choice by making a reply here. About PoS, I think the same way as you mate. For me, PoW makes it more fair. :) |
