Title: Buying bitcoin with debit/prepaid card
Post by: doomeater on March 24, 2016, 01:13:30 PM
Hey guys,

newbie here in the bitcoin world.

I thought this would be easy but it's surprisingly not.

I'm looking for a place where I can buy bitcoins directly with my (payoneer) prepaid card.

Coinbase doesn't allow my country so unfortunately that's not an option.

Most options I've seen that do directly offer debit-card purchases are too expensive compared to the rates present on coinbase.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Not sure if you've already looked on localbitcoins, paxful, or even ebay.  I believe the rates are very expensive because it is a high-risk payment for the seller.  Too many people have been burned with accepting them as payment but the cards end up being stolen.

you can try to exchange your Payoneer balance with bitcoin with other members in  the currency exchange board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0)
but be aware from scammers and deal with high trusted members
