Don't use coinbase they don't want gamblers, you have to use only wallets that sends the money from your address, don't use wallets from exchanges, directbet send you the winnings to the same address from you send the money.

Look for the desktop wallets in above link, its time you should move on and start keeping your bitcoins under your complete control instead of relying on others to do it for you.

Never use Coinbase when you like to gamble they will block you for sure.  I use XAPO by my self and so far never get any problems related to blocking accounts when you gamble.

I don't understand? Why do you want to use online wallet? There is some requirement you must follow or something?
Stick to the standard software wallets, that is the only way to keep your coins fully under your control.
By using online 3rd party as your wallet you are giving up power over your own coins, so don't do that.

If I were you, I won't use any of these two. You should consider using some "real" wallets, like Electrum, which is the best according to me !

I thought to gamble in directbet you need a wallet that does not have the transaction fee. because you have to send bitcoin. for each bet. and it could have spent a lot of satoshi

Technically speaking you can send transactions without a fee, but this would mean that your transaction is set behind in priority compared to all the other transactions that have a fee.

There isn't really a specific wallet you can use that is fine with gamblers that also has no transaction fee, I think your best bet would to use Electrum and then just pay the fee. That's just my opinion, however.

bitcoin wallet doesn't add the fee (it doesn't require fee) the network or the miners will need the fee.
meaning you can send without fee but miners will not accept it.

i'do reccomend you an address which you can have a full control and will not generating address automatically every transaction, the answer is blockchain, you can have your dedicated address and a wallet, so you'll have a full control on it and you don't need to worry to wager at blockchain based gambling sites because it'll have the same address for receiving and sending

I thought to gamble in directbet you need a wallet that does not have the transaction fee. because you have to send bitcoin. for each bet. and it could have spent a lot of satoshi

Above quote clearly describes the requirement in a wallet on using directbet. Often we are in need to transfer bitcoin. So lowest fee on transaction is needed.

You know something if you're worried about the transaction fee, you can use directbet's in built wallet, that way you don't have to transfer your funds back and forth for every bet.

Neither. They both are not suitable as your Bitcoin wallet if you are using them for gambling on DirectBet.

You can send transactions without adding fees, but it will take ages for your transaction to be confirmed by the network if you send transactions without fees.

which wallet offers lowest transaction fee ?
You can set your own transaction fee to as low as 1 Satoshi if you use the Bitcoin core or if you are using the Blockchain.info online wallet. The fees aren't that expensive, lol. I wonder why you do not want to pay the transaction fees?

coinbase is a much better wallet and exchange imo, but they don't allow their users to use their wallet for gambling. so be careful if you are going to be using coinbase.

How would coinbase know that you using what you send for gambling unless they see incoming bitcoin transactions from those sites.
Xapo I don't think really cares what you do with your bitcoins as that is the way it should be.
Your coins are to do what you want with them. But I see that they don't want break any laws by condoning such activities.

I agree with Raimoon. Don't use online exchanger wallet for betting, and Coinbase can banned people who do that. I think Xapo is good, but i don't know if Xapo banned account for gambling.

Xapo is the best you choose. For me my btc wallet is xapo because xapo have more safety than the coin base. Xapo have vault to transfer ur fund. And xapo is the best to receive and send money . and coinbase bad for directbet xapo is good .god bless

if you are looking for a wallet that you wont pay the miners fee for sending a transaction to bet on directbet, you can try using their casino wallet coz they will cover the fees for you and you dont have to worry about their ToS for sending it to a gambling site

Don't use coinbase they don't want gamblers, you have to use only wallets that sends the money from your address, don't use wallets from exchanges, directbet send you the winnings to the same address from you send the money.

Directbet will not send money back to same address from which you sent money for betting but they will ask you to provide the address where you want to receive your winning coins. I always use my xapo account to send and I will give my another address to receive my winnings.

Coinbase will block your account for sure and Xapo use different address to send bitcoin, so you won't get your bitcoin even you win.
There are many better wallet such as Electrum, Bitcoin Core or Mycelium.

Only use Coinbase and Xapo for 100% legal/not suspicous activity.

What you are telling about Xapo is wrong, even Coinbase is also using different address for each transaction, but the old address will be their in the account and what ever bitcoins sent to the old address it will reach you in your account. Dont tell the false answers when you dont know properly the procedure of the wallets.

I am using coinbase and xapo and till now did not got any problem, even my old address are still receiving the Bitcoins to the same wallet.

Thanks for betting at DirectBet :)

You can send your bet from any address / wallet that you like. We send your winnings to the coin address that you entered where you'd like to receive your winnings (and not back to the same address from which you sent the funds).

We recommend that you use our Playing Wallet to fund your Sport bets. This will ensure that all your bet transfers will arrive and confirm instantly, and you will not run into any delay issues.

It's also free, we cover the fees. Check it out :

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if you need anything.

All the Best,

To tell you the truth online wallets are not good for gambling purposes at all.
They have their own terms of conduct and it is possible that they could ban every unregulated transaction linked to gambling activities in the future.
It is not something unrealistic seeing how some gamblers had their online wallet banned because of that problem in the past.

As a lot of people said before, but most people just ignore: why would you ever give up controll of your private keys to an online wallet to save on those couple of cents worth of fees...
If you gamble, i do hope you gamble with more than 50 cents, so the fees shouldn't kill your loss/profit. In case you don't want to download core and the full blockchain, at least go for an SPV wallet like electrum and keep your coins safe.

I have experience using coinbase wallet for gambling at directbet, fortunejack, PrimeDice etc , and until now I am not getting banned or blocked. Why could I didn't get blocked? I used it occasionally.
So I guess as long as we didn't have massive transaction to gambling addresses it won't get you blocked.

I used Xapo before and therefore know transactions are not instant, it's not smart at all to use with an instant betting platform like DirectBet, You might find it better overall to use a PC wallet or maybe even blockchain.info (although I don't recommend online wallets as a whole).

Guys DirectBet have their own playing wallet now geared towards bettors and they even cover the transaction fees so you will save those precious satoshis  ;) It's located at https://casino.directbet.eu/ and after you register there is a tab labelled Playing Wallet. It supports multiple coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin etc.

I use XAPO to bet on directbet site and so for so good. One thing I found is transactions are reasonably quite fast from xapo account and also no need to pay the transaction fee. For may daily basis transactions I'm using Xapo more than a year and found it very good. I have no issues until now but there support is not so good because they take some time to reply your queries.

Xapo is the most used for directbet because coinbase don't send bitcoin with your own adresse so you will have a problem when directbet send you your profit.
if you want to gamble just use xapo. and if you want to save your  money use coinbase.
for me i use coinbase but when i want to gamble i send the amount i need to xapo first.

Yes coinbase block all those accounts which they find to be use for the payment of gambling websites or any online casino, so in that case stay away from coinbase and join xapo, I think it is more better than coinbase, most of the people find it more reliable and convenient than coinbase.

Well if you know that both sites has a risk of getting block or ban so why not choose something out of the box like blockchain wallet or offline wallets. I myself haven't heard any news on xapo but I heard a lot on coinbase and here's the current that I've seen https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=747596.0 .

I think xapo will not ban wallet who getting paid from gambling sites, recently I won some money from crypto-games.net and use my xapo wallet for cashout them. and everything went fine.. but I did it only one time. may be if we do this so many times, xapo get notice and take action, I don't know.

As long as you tumble your bitcoins before gambling, I don't think it really matters where you buy them from.  I have used the bitcoins that I bought with coinbase to gamble at SWC and have never had a problem with my coinbase account.  But I have never sent them directly from coinbase to SWC.  If I did, I'm sure they would lock my account right away.

Coinbase has gambling terms but I regularly used Coinbase when betting for Directbet as I feel it will not affect the terms.

Just for Directbet, for other gambling site I used blockchain wallet.

If you buy bitcoins - and you already transferred them to your wallet. There is no way that any service you bought it from or/and original owner could do anything about it.
These coins are yours and yours alone from now on. Coins are also not monitored further (unless you decide to keep them in your Circle account - Which is unadvised anyway).

Can anyone tell which wallet is best to use to bet at https://www.directbet.eu ?

I heard Coinbase block such acounts and same is case with Xapo ?

Xapo is really really good i love the look the style everything about it, very professional.
Also i wouldn't touch coinbase even if i was armed to the teeth and had tank and sniper support.  :P
I think its better to use electrum right now if you are playing in any gambling site.. I heard that coinbase is not good to use in gambling better to use electrum or blockchain just choose two wallet or you can use bitmixer to receive and send in coinbase..

I use XAPO to bet on directbet site and so for so good. One thing I found is transactions are reasonably quite fast from xapo account and also no need to pay the transaction fee. For may daily basis transactions I'm using Xapo more than a year and found it very good. I have no issues until now but there support is not so good because they take some time to reply your queries.

yeah, xapo is really very good, I am also using it from the beginning and it do not have any issue on any platform, also working good for transactions on gambling sites, like coinbase it do not bother their members on any reason.

I'm also one of the people that use Xapo. Perfect for daily transactions, no fees, pretty fast, android application... I think xapo is good choice for every gambler, I recommend you to use it for daily transactions.

I also advise you to make some better wallet where will you keep you bigger stash. Not just cause there will be safe from others, also there you coins will safe from you when you come in situation to deposit all amount you have. I been there, gambling makes us crazy in moments when we lose some amount and we wish to take that money back.

I wish you good luck, and I hope you will have success in gambling.

Sure, they couldn't do anything about the coins that you already transferred to a wallet that only you control, but they sure could lockup any bitcoins that you still had in your Coinbase account or just lock you out so that you couldn't buy anymore from them.  Also, I'm pretty sure that the KYC laws require them to track your coins to some extent.  They can follow them on the blockchain, it's all public.
