do you own a business or are you a simple trader/barter of BTC? if i was to convert btc into usd and wish to send my usd to singapore or belize (offshore banks) which service would you use? Just kidding. Mainly, my interest was just in mucking around with something new and interesting to see if it would go anywhere. Even in the 5 short months since I was informed of bitcoin's existence, i've seen amazing growth and evolution in the community, the value of bitcoins, the usefulness of bitcoins, not to mention the passion with which the community identifies/pursues/exposes/shames scammers. My secondary reasons include: . Pissing off the U.S government and my own, Every Bitcoin gained means no taxes for them and they can't do a thing, I actually wouldn't mind just donating to certain government departments like health though if they were willing to negotiate :) . Truly international trade, I love the way Bitcoin doesn't discriminate like governments do . Protection against inflation, it's always good to diversify and Bitcoin should be no different, even the most cautious investor should try having 1% of their wealth in this currency just to see how it goes Title: Re: what is your primary purpose of using bitcoin?
