Title: Any new FPGA in sight?
Post by: MaxLAMF on February 07, 2013, 03:26:49 PM
Hi,
is there any FPGA that gets more GH/s than those Quadminers or something comparable that comes out soon to be an alternative to ASICīs???

Regards!

No.   FPGAs can not compete with ASICs at all.

well, if you check out some semiconductor producer sites and their high end fpgas, then their processing power is quite impressive. Iīm not talking about some quadminers with spartan chips or so...
