Title: Re: [WTB] - defective reference design AMD gpus Post by: sobe-it on March 30, 2016, 10:55:36 PM ref R9 290X 4GB the heat sink mounting holes (4 around gpu die) are stripped so the back chrome mount only mounts with 1 screw. Bought it in untested condition for my gaming rig and haven't fully tested it due to that reason. I know it has no display and the fan spins aside from that it could be bios, mosfets or something stupid.
